The main thing you need to improve on is from 100 yards in. Learn more about pitching and chipping. I know your second round was a great improvement because I saw your score. Tighten up your accuracy on your drives. Maybe put the 2 iron away and trust your driver more. Overall great Job!

Million. Really? Do you play golf? I’ve been playing at least 35 years. My accuracy with my driver is the best it’s ever been and when I was younger I used a 2 iron until I realized I needed to learn to trust my driver. I’ve worked on my short game over the years and my accuracy from 100 yards in is the best it’s ever been. I’m pretty good at chipping and pitching. But I’m no where near pro level. Golf is hard. Go out there and show everyone what you’re made of, stop trying to be a pro pga tour golfer. I watched a documentary on tiger woods and he stated “I just went out there and showed them what I could do. I swung as hard as I could because I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.” Get that mentality and you’ll be unstoppable as a pga pro. Keep up the good work and show off out there, your a beast tig.

33 players shot -10 or better in this tournament. All of those guys and quite a few of the others could make PGA tour cuts. Also shows how much work Tig needs to do. Starts with consistently getting the ball in play off the tee. It's hard to get anything going when over half your tee shots leave you in thick rough. Then start dialing in those darn wedge shots..

@@moderndaygrinch I realize he didn’t go the traditional route through junior golf then college golf and that would definitely help but in this outing he had a very good caddie to help with course management and green reading and Micah still was nowhere close to making the cut. Sure his short game is absolutely nowhere near where it should be but there is no part of his game that would be considered good. He hits it far and that’s literally his only strength. I live in an area with about 300k people and he wouldn’t even finish in the top 20 if he played in our local area amateur championship. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this. I’m also not trying to knock him….if someone gave me an invite to a PGA Canada event I’d probably play in it as well.

What separate pros from the rest, especially at the Korn Ferry and PGA level is their minds. They just work differently, and most of them just have that "click" since their young years.
I'd say he has more of a shot at the senior tour down the road if he keeps playing. That's more gettable and a pretty decent pay as well.
