Hi Johnathan, I'm sooo confused how you don't get more views on your channel because your like the soundest guy ever and so humble. Keep these videos coming please :)
I live just down valley, and ski season is soooo close, and i cannot watch this, it makes me soo happy for the season that i might just die, especially for that small powder with great kickers...
Love your videos. I watched them before I went to vail/BC/Breck and still watch after. They make me wanna get back to Colorado ASAP. Keep it up with the good shots and edits. Thanks
I find the elevation in Colorado allows your body to acclimate to physical conditioning faster. Snowboarding everyday when I first moved here was the fastest I’ve ever gotten in shape! Be careful though if you skip too many days those muscles start fading quick!
Oh hey john have you heard of silverton mountain? Its about 6 hours from dillon but its a no begginer mountain and no groomers and about 400 inches of snow every winter and you can even get heli drops.its like a big mountain back country experience but with in a resort. I just learned about it and was thinking that would be a sick video. In a year or two i can see me giving that a try
miguel padilla Silverton is awesome! While there is no beginner skiing they have intermediate friendly terrain. However if you take the heli make sure you’re with people within your skill level. They pick the least experienced rider to find the terrain so no ones getting hurt or killed. So it can be awkward if you’re in the heli with a bunch pro big mountain riders. But totally worth the trip!
Johnathan, missed you out here in Park City, but I think you made the wise choice of staying with the powder! Nice video dude, keep it up! Can't wait to be back in CO!
Hey Johnathan, love your videos! I'm looking at the Outdoor Master goggles to purchase. Lots of lenses to choose from. Do you have 1 or 2 lenses you've really liked and would recommend? Thx!
@@melissabarrett681 I have to agree! I demo'd them at the Burton US Open a couple weeks ago, LOVED THEM! They def helped me save a ton of energy from leaning or sitting to strap in standard bindings! May have to buy some for next season. Do you have the photons or ions?
Colorado already has spring break? we have it in like 2 weeks here in the bay area. Im gonna miss the skiing and snowboarding (i do both) because were goin to hawaii.
Our spring break lasts like a whole month at the resorts. Since everywhere has a different time they do it we get other states spring break crowds cause of all the ski trips people take on spring break
I love your videos man. But I prefer it when you have the camera pointing forward (since it feels like I am riding/skiing myself), too much backward facing shots in this, not as enjoyable. Legendary back bowls did look sick tho!
Melissa stick to the board you are good at it for been first season..and vail was empty bc people dont wanna risk avalanches and they were all at keystone
I’ve been there it’s awesome 👏. Maybe the reason nobody is there is because it’s way too expensive anymore. Seriously they need to stop being so greedy and lower the price again. Good video man me likely. Buck ferton
You need to trust me my name is winter weather info im a weather geek please when I you to go to southern mountains I mean it because there will be more snow there Wolf Creek reported 30 inches of snow this storm and telluride more than 20 and you go to Vail good job
Winter Weatherinfo Colorado’s avalanche cycle has been rather historic this year. Between feb 28- and March 14 811 Avy’s recorded. 589 large enough to bury or kill someone. And 142 large or “historic” sized avalanches were recorded. While resorts remain safe due to mitigation efforts the back country will likely be dangerous for the rest of the season. Stay safe out there! The likelihood of triggering an avalanche is slowly decreasing but the size of the potential slides remains the same, practically unsurvivable
Riding switch, in the trees, with the pole ....skills
Riding switch is so hard

Melissa!!! Great job snowboarding! Killing it!
Thanks.. it was an awesome day.

@@melissabarrett681 I'm impressed! Proud of you! Keep it up! Be careful though, you may start to like it more than skiing! ;-)
True
Yo!! Cosign here. You're killing it! When I first saw you on the board I was like ohhhhhh!!!!! So boss!!!

+Judge Dredd stoked you enjoyed man and yeah she ripped it up in this video! Do you live in CO?
Johnathan Buckhouse Oklahoma actually hahaha next door. So close but so far
John. How do you have energy for this?!? Honestly though i would love to know how you keep your body right for this much riding!!
TheLordourGod this dude must be ripped lowkey
Samuel Richardson But i feel like in the other videos ive seen him with a shirt on, he sure as hell isnt a joe rogan.. idk
If you ride a lot your body becomes conditioned for it, I start out the season just being wiped, by mid season I can ride 8+ hours no sweat

Well anywhere with 8-9k+ ft elevation
Sick dude! I'm glad you made it out here!
