I flew 3 times on the A380 upper deck to ICN from LAX. Love Korean food especially kimchi. Very enjoyable flight. It was a long flight but my Singapore Air nonstop to Singapore was almost 4 hours longer.
Thanks. i am flying on this airline from LAX to ICN next month , my friend work at LAX and he is going with me so we get to park for free in the employee parking. Not looking forward to the flight, i hate to fly i often get sick on the plane.
I always hate flying out of LAX partly due to the parking or ride share situation there, so having a friend with free employee parking would be pretty sweet. 😜 I'm sorry that you get sick during plane rides though. Hope this video was helpful and your flight isn't too bad!
i know its been a year but can u explain star alliance? im kinda dumb haha. like i’m flying from manila to LAX and have a 9hr stopover in ich, first time flying asiana airlines and doing economy. ure saying through the link in ur bio i can purchase to stay in this lounge during that 9hr layover? even if i’m economy and not a frequent flyer?
Hello, you can go to that link to purchase a lounge pass even if you're flying economy. I don't think they even require you to be a Star Alliance (i.e. Asiana Club, ANA Mileage Club, United MileagePlus, etc) frequent flyer either. But if you are not enrolled in one, you should just sign up because you get a 5% discount for the pass. Signing up is free and you just have to be a basic member, no higher status needed. You do need to fly on a Star Alliance Airline to be able to buy the pass though as you are required to enter your Star Alliance airline flight number. Hope that helps!
@@SarahtheEnthusiast thank you!! i’ll try to do that now, cause i think it’ll be more worth doing this than me walking around for 9hrs 😅 at least i can lounge for 3hrs and get some food in my system lol. do they allow u to take out snacks or a drink do u know?
@@SENPXL Not a matter of do they allow. If you see individually packaged snacks and drinks, just put them in your bag. Haha. The lounges that are strict about that usually don't provide individually packaged items. And yes, much better than wandering around awful LAX. From what I can tell, they don't enforce the 3-hour limit. I don't quite know how they would. Hope you have a safe flight!
I just bought a ticket from LAX to South Korea and Asiana Airlines in economy class. Can I buy access to the Star Alliance Lounge with a guest in economy class? I know most lounges only have first-and business-class seating.
Thank you for watching! I don't know what current restrictions for this airline but when I went on this flight, I had my travel pillow with me. It's not the inflatable kind but the roll up kind. I'd be surprised if they didn't allow travel pillows... I will say that some Asian airlines don't allow those travel footrests you can purchase on Amazon. My sister couldn't use hers on Korean Air and they were pretty strict about it. But I've never heard of people not being able to use their travel pillows. Hope you have a great flight!
Wwaoo so nice video ... thank you for sharing ! I had an upcoming trip flying with Asiana Airlines to Vietnam on Nov.. Can someone give me a review... I choose my seat at 47K....
omgsh such a headache using my chase points booking a shared flight with United and Asiana and trying to get tickets and online boarding passes. But yea saved me around $1k :/
Good info. I might fly from lax-Bangkok after xmas due to low airfare.
I was JUST on OZ201 from LAX to ICN. Very pleasant experience

I was curious about the upper deck.
I love Singapore Air too. Which do you prefer, Asiana Air or Singapore Air?
@@SarahtheEnthusiast I like having on 2 seats together on Asiana and the food but Singapore Air has wifi and better IFE.

Hi! In economy class, are you allowed to bring a carry-on and a backpack?

Sorry this is late. You can buy if you’re in economy. Not sure if they’ll allow a guest who isn’t flying on a Star Alliance flight. 🤔
Nice review! Thank you.
Have you seen anybody inflatable Pillows? I heard that they might not allow...

@@SarahtheEnthusiast Thank ypu for your response. Seems like there are restrictions only for inflatable ones. Thank you again for all the info!

Seemed not too bad for economy

I don’t remember if I had a hard time with that back when I booked… But $1k is a lot of savings. 🤓 Hope your flight was smooth though!
