I like the combination of showing your own set-up and the explanation of the reasoning behind it. This is important as it gives food for thought; more than just wanting to copy the items, it promotes using your own brain and follow the thought process. This will help finding what your own needs are, coming up with your own kit, and adapt to your own environment. And, a great knife! Keep us posted on how it holds up. It doesn't matter that it was "just a quick job". My idea is than any knife that cuts and that you have on you is much better than just your finger nails!
Rob, i agree with your comment, that is the purpose of this video. sharing the why is more important than the what, i believe. I make knives and sell then as well, this knife was made to perform, just didnt take the hours of work to make it pretty. haha. ATB.

I have my antlerless deer permi and am a bow hunter as well as a rifle. Bow hunters had an extra few weeks to hunt before rifle. i have not been out yet. lol I dont hunt hard anymore. Just knowing i can if need be , means alot to me.
Yeah bow goes before rifle here as well. And my Aunts bf is 63 so we just drive through the canyon looking lol we didn't hunt hard at all. But we saw some hunters climbing the side of a mountain and im like nope i don't think so LOL @@kullcraven

With that big ass knife I would recommend a tourniquet they are light and can sVe your life
I always carry a large knife, and any first aid device, is a good carry, just incase. :)
