This song and EVERY song from all 4 games on GB for Turok are f-u-c-k-i-n-g sound heaven. I'm going to have to go back and give em a listen in order. Thanks to the OP for posting!
I first saw this when I was looking up the Turok: Seeds of Evil N64 soundtrack, I saw this and thought "A Game Boy soundtrack upload? How could the result of porting music from the N64 game to game boy match the power of the N64's sound system?" Instead of a butchered port OST, I found this great rave chip soundtrack, I'm glad I clicked on it.
When I was 6 I played to get to this level and have the dino parked before the ending of the stage and put my gameboy by my side and sleep to this music
haha "Turok" came to my mind when I visited the Nintendo museum in NY last week and the old tunes came to my mind :D damn, memories of gaming through whole nights - and failing, failing, failing on the snowy mountain stage because I couldn't manage a jump ;)
I loved riding the dino! And shooting things.. from its mouth? The scrolling stages in this game left the most impression on my mind. Best stage in the game, best music in the game. :D
even though the handheld versions had nothing to do with the story or gameplay of the n64, they still managed to be fun on their own, why relate it to it's n64 counterpart still confuses me, still, we managed to get some kickass songs atleast
Every single of these GBA songs are amazing beyond compare. I would love to hear this soundtrack being played by a live band!! OMG that would blow my mind
Does someone can tell me if the level on the ptérodactylon this music was really fucking hard or was it because i was too young? This music remember me hard times and great feeling of acomplishment :p
HOW THE FUCK CAN A GAME HAS THIS FUCKING AMAZING AWESOME MUSIC?? FUCK I REALLY FUCKING LOVE THIS, FUCK FUCK FUCK OH YEAH GUYS THIS IS LIFE, NO FEAR WITH THIS XDDDD
This music is poetry.
INCREDIBLE OST, holy shit
concordo

@@McAlby Honestly man, your music is probably one of my main memories of playing Gameboy games. Thanks!
I have gotten this stuck in my head on and off since I played the game at least 10+ years ago. So rewarding to finally hear it in full again.

So awesome!
Oh my god. I thought the giana sisters scroll theme was the pinnacle of 8-bit game musik, but this is EVEN BETTER!
