In the series itself, the name "Frank" comes from Frankenstein's monster. It's just one of several names he's referred to by, such as EX-1 (pronounced "Extra One") by military organizations such as Funeral and Mr. Fairy by Hattie. Aside from being revived by an scientific experiment, he actually doesn't have as strong a conceptual resemblance to Frankenstein's monster as the name would suggest. For a mecha series more fundamentally inspired by the story of Frankenstein, a better example would actually be Tetsujin #28, which emphasizes that the robot has no innate predisposition towards good or evil, just as Frankenstein's monster was a blank slate that only became evil due to the influence of humanity.
@@l_thammy My request was to make super robot showcase video about Gorevo, a mecha from Malaysian animated series called Go 3 elemental wheel, here the official episode playlist th-cam.com/play/PL_Br331M3f_6TNnI89YgQwG07ChbuJZPa.html They also add english subtitle for foreigner viewers
It looks like TH-cam is still hiding some of your replies, but I did end up publishing a video on Gorevo. You should be able to find it in the Super Robot Showcase playlist. I normally wouldn't immediately make something based on a suggestion but since Go-3 Elemental Wheel is such as a short series, I thought it would be a good one to release while I looked at a much longer series.
Thanks for posting about this underrated gem.
only thing that bugs me about this show the shoulder cockpit
Now that is some friggin protagonist hair right there, Jesus...
Well nothing can rival Yu Gi Oh MCs hair though 😂
I remember the last part of the video being an almost entire episode about such meeting... XD
Sarg kinda looks like a mecha version of Iris from Gamera 3
so it is Frankenstein's Monster but has mecha.

Sorry for not being patient but is my request still ongoing?
Sorry, I don't really keep records of suggestions and I'm having trouble digging up your previous comment. Could I ask what your request was?
