I find it funny how Louis’ family says they could never contact him or he was impossible to reach but they could have easily call him, which (to me) sounds like any occasions where they needed him they didn’t ACTUALLY need him unless it mattered.
I thought the same thing as I watched that scene!! I felt so bad for Luis, especially after the death of his brother.. Of course, he said yes to Lestat given the extreme vulnerable state that he was in. I hated his mom, but I was also pissed off with the sister because I felt like she should have stuck up for him after he was blamed for his brother‘s death.
A lot of people don’t like the show but this makes more sense than the movie. The movie paints them more like close friends so the attachment Louie has to Lestat is questionable but this clears the air whyyyy he was so hooked. Also explaining and showing that Louie NEVER got any real guidance on his abilities and only was ever around Lestat & Armand who both benefit by keeping him in the dark and using manipulation to keep him close.
Louis is such a complex character and beautifully portrayed. I just wish the fans took the abuse he faced more seriously a lot of fans blame Louis for abuse he faced instead of Lestat just because they find the actor who plays Lestat him attractive…. Especially when Black/Brown people experience a severe amount of DV more so than there counterparts
Also, Jacob says that he and Steven Norfleet (played his brother Paul) were good enough that the director sent their tap dancing pro "doubles" home after the first day!

Thanks for making this. Are you going to make a Louis S2 scene pack?
Please put Lestat S1 Scenepack back.
Worst adaptation since Eragon, at least that got the setting right
