After 18 months of turbulence and disruption, Terry Hearn returns in this epic account of that time period. You can see the excitement in him when he talks about the carp.
The best natural carp angler on the planet. His ability to keep on catching these iconic specimens time after time, just shows how in tune with the lake and fish he is. Top story teller too.

This man is more than a carp fishing Hall of famer. Anglers will be talking about him for decades and decades to come. I've been looking forward to this for so long, and watched the lot sat on the floor in the spare room because the misses wouldn't shut the f@@k up and give Terry, and the video the respect it deserved.

Hey Terry... I'm pretty sure Elstow 2 was a claypit or the upper layers were as I collected fossils there as well as having 2 and lost 2...we have crossed paths as well as supported the keep it real campaign in big carp... Well done.. 👍

I have anxiety and can struggle to sleep at nights when the adrenaline is pumping ears ringing and feelings of shear panic, this man sends me off to sleep with his fascinating stories better than any bollox meds that the doc try’s to prescribe.
I’ve listened to them all in the day but there’s something about them that’s so relaxing.

Wow believe it or not mate I’m the same and often watch or listen to Terry to be able to go to sleep as there’s not many ppl who can tell a story like Terry! Legend!

We used to swim in that lake its nr hitchen i think its in arlsley bedfordshire !! There is a lake behind it called the green lagoon ..some massive pike in the blue lagoon
Followed Terry for more years than i care to remember. He has always had this way about him. He is enough to make an animal rights activist take up fishing 😂
Just doesn’t get any better! Got to give it to E.S.P. for promoting angling like this, true natural carp fishing, not the over stocked and over fed things you usually see being caught by other companies sponsored anglers. Saw a video of a guy that’d caught 100 30’s in a year, what a joke! No one tells a story as well as Terry, best carp angler in the country and bless with the ability to pass on his tales with such passion so we can enjoy his captures along with him.
An hour of my life that I don't want to get back, fantastic as always Terry. I could listen to these stories for hours. You should do an audio book.

Fished a lake with regular swimmers and got a screamer whilst swimmers were almost directly over my spot. Resulted in a 28lb Common. Couldn't believe it but later I had a chat with one of them and he said thr Carp would sometimes follow him round the lake. Guessing the disturbance churned up some sort of naturals!!

Tel desperately needs to release his books in an audiobook format. This is a no brainier as he’s the best at reeling off a tale, your there with him. Not a lot of people have got the ability to do that. I always revisit these after a few months as it’s engrossing content. Keep up the vids ESP with El Tel 🎣 🎣🎣

Are carp tough to being out of the water long, like catfish ? Our catfish species here in the U.S can be wrapped In a damp towel, strapped to a flat rear wheel bicycle rack, rode home a half hour and put in back yard pond for a spell.
Same with carp. As long as they are kept wet they can survive out of the water for quite a while.

Wow, wow, wow. I have a lot of happy memories of this place (The Blue) growing up as a kid in the 70's and early 80's - even learning to swim in there - swimming out to the old crane that was left in there after it flooded. Never really fished it too much - certainly not for carp. I did have a walk around there a few years back and found a few (a mirror and a common) on the high bank near some snags and they looked pretty decent size. Special family memories and a great watch.
I can only imagine, the 3 dislikes are from previous captures, that have somehow got access to an underwater, carp friendly computer.. (Or for the disgust in how he pronounces the word ‘COVID’)??!!

Fishing tidal brackish water carp right now myself..... challenging they have that sixth sense and the mud along with the constant shifting waters......makes it interesting...
