- The feature debut from Toronto’s Chandler Levack is a funny, touching, and empathetic look at a film- and self-obsessed teenaged curmudgeon pursuing his dreams and testing personal connections in 1990s suburban Ontario.

This film was EXCELLENT! Go see in IN THEATRES folks!!
agreed! was very impressed. i dont even think the trailer does it justice and i thought the trailer was great
I've very much been looking forward to this film, I heard someone say this is like LadyBird for film nerds and that sounds right up my alley.
I don’t know who that young actor is but he is something great. I look forward to this film.
It touched me deeply. Despite the negative feelings to the main character, I felt like I knew him very well, just like he was me. I rated it 8/10. And what is a kind of paradox here, is that it's not the main theme about VHS rental, cinema or nostalgia that I loved the most, but the friendship and the change of Lawrence as the most important element of this story that hit me so hard.
go watch this in theaters if you can, it's worth it!!
This.. doesn't feel as cliched as it may be. This is unique.
*It seems like a genuinely enjoyable experience, I mean
I love the shrek vs cinema rental store conversation, wow.
wow, so beautiful and true
Can't wait
Saw this last night, if I remember correctly it was set in 2003 not the 1990s if you feel like updating your description 😋 not too far off but the early 00s have their own specific feeling
Because I don’t think shrek and The Saddest Music In The World was in the 90s
yep, this looks good
where can i buy this movie and watch it pleas?

I wonder what canadian movies will be namedropped in this pic.
