- So we're out and about on the River today searching for some big CHUB using our Fly Rods. I must admit up until now I haven't really given Fly Fishing allot of attention apart from when I visit Trout Fisheries on the odd occasion. But fishing with Richard on the River using my Snowbee Classic 7ft rod has really opened my eyes as to what I've been missing out on. It is such a beautiful method to use when you wade through miles of overgrown riverside in search for some stunning fish. Everyday out on the banks is a learning day for me, what cast to use, what fly to use, what's the weather doing. Stalking and sneaking up on the fish trying to outwit them to take my Fly has certainly been a great way to learn while have allot of fun. O yes lets not forget I caught a new PB Chub today.
This video was awesome. Where I live we have a small stream with creek chubs in it. They rarely crack 8" but they are amazing fun to fish for with a light fly rod, almost moreso than trout in my opinion. This was awesome to see because we do not have beasties like this in Michigan. Please make another!
+Aaron Cobb Thanks Aaron. Will be on the fly rod again soon when trout season opens as our river coarse fishing season is coming to a close soon. Can't wait, then when coarse season opens up again I am going to have a lot of fun targeting Chub on my fly rod. Tight lines.

Sometimes the most under rated fish by most people are the best fish ever. Sometimes I go fly fishing for shiners and people think I'm crazy.
I agree with you there, I am enjoying carp on a fly at the moment. Will be out targeting Chub on some wasps I got the other day, can't wait. Tight lines..
brilliant guys great vidio wish I was there with you. I love fishing my beetle paterns. wish I could find 2 pound chub. I guess I'll have to stick with my trout and bass. god bless
