1. Stimulate The Petals By Tapping: If you want to help your peony blooms to open up nice and big, tap them gently on a hard surface and this will help them to loosen and open up.
2. Dunk In Warm Water: Dunk the blooms in warm water for 10-15 seconds every two hours until they’re as open as you’d like.
3. Warm Water: When you bring your peonies home, fill your vase with some warm water.
4. Trim Stems On An Angle: Trim the stems on an angle before putting them in water, allowing the blooms to absorb as much water as they can, as fast as possible.
5. Trim Some Of The Leaves: Trim away any leaves that would end up sitting in water. This will keep them fresher for longer.
