FINALLY a person on TH-cam I can listen to for more than a minute without feeling like I'm gonna rip my ears off. Seriously, half of ALL TH-camrs have a strange speech intonation, or say stupid things, or are arse lickers, or downright scum. Froch keeps it real, doesn't speak like a spiv, and isn't bought or paid for and limited in his views or ability to speak freely.

Great analysis as usual Carl. Love the videos so far, keep it up. I agree with all this misfits stuff. Seems that it’s starting to sadly catch on. As long as people tune in and get the numbers they will carry it on. For me boxers should face boxers. Sounds obvious when you say it out loud. But we want contests , blood and guts. Putting careers on the line. Title defences. Not seen a fight like that for a while now.

I’ve managed to catch a couple of these fights on TH-cam after the event because you have to look through morbid curiosity. It’s all excellent until the bell goes and then it is dross.

KSI's coach has admitted that clinching was part of their game plan, also during the fight in the corner KSI's coach was heard telling him to try and get Tommy to hit him on the back of the head to get points deducted. That was KSI's fight plan from the off!

Tommy Fury knew this going in and instead of just staying on the backfoot and coutering him and easliy knocking him out, he decided to also indulge in a clinch-fest and have a close fight with a youtuber who only had a right hand. Tommy should never be addressed as a Pro again. He's proven 2x now that he's on the level of these TH-camrs.The audacity to cheer yet again like he's just won the World champion belt after having a close fight with ksi is disgraceful.

Every thing you say Carl is spot on, it was embarrassing. I feel for the genuine hard grafting fighters trying to work their way up the ranks the hard , but proper way, they must be thinking "what's the point? If these clowns can earn more money for a pantomime shit show like that! It does need to end because they are ruining boxing and dragging it in to the gutter. And if Tommy fury wants to be classed as a real boxer he needs to get away from the rest of the clowns, by clowns I mean his dad. He needs to train with uncle Pete😅
Froch proudly showing how out of touch he is is just embarrassing man. No one is under any illusions that the TH-cam/Misfits boxers are at the level of pro boxers (with maybe 1 or 2 who could potentially compete with the right training). But instead of bitching about how unfair it is they re getting paid more than most pros, or that their boxing technique (or lack of) means some fights look more like a playground scrap than a pro boxing match, every boxing promoter in the country should be looking at what they’re doing different that’s earning them close to record-breaking PPVs. The purists can moan all they want, which Froch will continue to do cos his plays to the only segment of fans he has a hope of staying relevant to, but the build ups to these fights were funny and entertaining and meant there was something on the line without needing a belt or title. I’ll take that over PR trained fighters who are too scared to say anything interesting in case it might cost them a sponsorship deal or brand partnership any day!

Spot on as always. It's easy to get sucked into the pre fight hype and the actual boxing was such a let down. Being only 6 rounds is a big factor for me. Why was it only half a fight. I think if it was 12 rounds we might have seen a bit more action. Or maybe not.

What was the undercard like? I've seen some of this TH-cam boxing before, but that was particularly bad. The two main bouts were atrocious, I don't think this was a good representative of the concept, to say the least.

I, former pro boxer, have been boxing for 24 yrs, still can not lose my love to the sport of boxing, because it has got infinite depth of techniques and spiritual dramas. My hope believes that social media fighters will either get fans slowly disappearing(like Mayweather's exhib) or social media fighters themselves will lose interests in their punching fights and move onto other things. Or possibly both at the same time. Having said that all, there is nothing wrong in those social media guys enjoying boxing whatever negative impact it might be causing, it just I do not need them.

Misfits has shown how bad it is compared to real boxing. KSI was terrified, was like a rabbit in car headlights. He was clinching onto Tommy for his life & was too scared to fight. At least Tommy came to fight, but he should have been boxing better, moving in and out instead he got drawn into KSI's pathetic tactics. KSI knew he couldn't beat Tommy, once KSI felt his power it became a full hug fest. The 2 girls Astrid & Alexia put up a better fight than KSI. It's embarrassing how KSI fans think he did well.
