Fantastic vlog Paul I just love the shots of the flowers you took. Great to see you getting out again until next vlog👍
Many thanks indeed!
Well it certainly is that time of year for close up photography, great video, good use of live view lovely common spotted orchid
Cheers. Hoping to do more of this soon.
That was a fantastic macro session thanks for sharing🙏

Cheers. I do enjoy it. Really trying to do more this year.
Not long discovered your vlogs, brilliant, I love it when you trip over something, makes you more real. Gr8 tips which I will put into practice this year. Keep on doing what you do. M
Lol! thank you Mel
Excellent work !
Thanks for valuable speech.
Thanks. Well done!!
Loved that buddy great vid 😎👌👍
I love that last image, I don't tend to take my heavy tripod with me but I think it is time I did. Thanks for another terrific video.
I love it too! Tripod is a bind, but sometimes it's necessary. This location is very littel walking.
Hi Paul well that was a lovely little video I enjoyed it . I've never done any macro photography before but I've seen quite a few videos on it since all this virus lock down stuff and its something I may look at in the future. I personally would like to see more on the subject from you. Until next time take care and stay safe.
Great images. I don’t usually use a tripod for macro, but I might try it more now
This place is very beautiful. Reminds me of my old house location. Very calming and relaxing 👍🙂
I'm so glad I found it.
@@PaulMiguelPhotography yes. Very beautiful and peaceful
Hi Paul...I just bought an old Tamron 90mm 2.8 lens [no stabilisation] to go on my 70d...Going to start macro shooting asap....Thanks for the tips
Had one years ago. It's decent, but you have get closer and the focus operation is different. I'd say it's a good starter lens for macro. It's sharp.
Fantastic shots Paul. I would love to see some insect shots and how you go about it.
Hi Pauline. Hoping to do that soon. Saw my first marbled white butterfly at the site the other day. Also some other insects, I think July will be amazing!
Another excellent video. Would you have used a ring flash in any of those photo's?
Personally no, I just try to use natural light. But maybe a slight touch of flash, or even better LED.
I'm thinking about getting this lens...
On the first flower (orchids). Would it trick a good bokeh, if you bring Xmas tree light chain, and lay it around the back of the orchids? 🤔
Just wanted to know what you do with the photos after you take them, do you sell them or do you just keep them, great vid and God bless
Hi Zachary. I sell the odd picture, but most images are either for youtube or to help promote my workshops.
Thank you
'not dresses for this', couple days ago on a general walk about i saw some cormorants on a lake island, one was just out of view, i ended up wading into the lake waist deep in a dress and heels to get the shot, yep it was pretty muddy but i was able to clean off a bit further down
That's so cool.. I think we would get on.!
This is a good lense but i find it hard to get everything in focus, is that the way the lense is supposed to be? seems to only get the one in focus.
If you are very close, the depth of field is very small, so yes it can be like that. Sometimes it's best to back away a little bit.
What tripod are you using?
Induro CT404. Great kit.
The Hogweed is actually Wild Carrot 🥕
Is it Andrew? I don’t know for sure.
Hi Paul, I'm around 90% sure (not so easy via TH-cam) :)
i guess if your not using a tripod that might be the norm.
