This probability comparison shows the most common awkward moments and what percentage of people have been into such situations in some point

“Calling teacher ‘mom’” I always call my math and science teacher my English and history teacher and vice versa
I called my teacher mum in yr 1 and she gave me a weird look
I called my teacher mom and in my head i was like.. "oh cr*p" lol my teacher laughed so i was so weireded out, scared, and awkwardly laughing at the same time

Here’s the thing though: people don’t judge you even if you do something embarrassing or awkward; your head just over exaggerates how awkward it feels. There are those rare instances, of course, when you’ll meet someone who does say something about your embarrassing or awkward situation you had in public, but then that’s on them not you. It’s just a fact I know which will help the socially anxious people who walk among us in our societies.

I did that in first grade...kinda. Like, my friend said that she'd dress up as Snow white for book day and on that day I came very early so I was was waiting by the hallways. Someone who looked similar to my friend passed by (unfortunately also wore a Snow white costume) and I was waving at them. I then realized that she wasn't my friend and I just pretended as if I was waving at someone behind her XD.

I was famous for laughing at random things at school and I could never stop so they called me something like "the laughing one" or "with a laughing disease"

It would be awkward before you pay and you say that, but after you pay you're just letting them know to enjoy the money.

I've had this situation.
Once me and my dad were going at a store to buy food, etc., and then I saw a woman that looked almost EXACTLY like my mom, and I said out loud - "Hey, Mom!", the woman turned around in confusion and I realised it wasn't my mom...
That really was an awkward situation.
Edit: The woman was an store employee
Once I ran up to my dad and hugged him. Little did I realize that that wasn't my father. To make matters worse, he happened to have a daughter that was staring angrily into my eyes.
Same but with my grandma, we was going to shop and I got kinda lost at zebra crossing. I accidentally said to the person next to me "where are you, oh there" then I saw this person face and recognized it wasn't my grandma lol
When I was about 4 years old, I saw a dog in the park I liked going to. I went up to the dog and stroked it. But little did I know, it wasn’t a dog, instead it was a 50 year old man.
That happened to me when I was a child at the road, I felt like having heart attack when she turned at me after I yelled mom she was wearing the same trousers with same design as my mom. My mom was right behind me at that time

When the person walking the opposite direction as you try to get around you by either shifting left or right, and you've just shifted towards where they've shifted to, and again, and again. Then I'm here like, "Here, you first."

The fact that in more than half of things I feel awkward here
That 1 in 3.3 moment happened in back in my previous academic year. What happened is that I was putting my hand on the chair to move it in order to sit down, however, a friend (who keeps saying that I'm her crush but I'm not) put her bum on my hand, I tried to let go and then she became so sensitive and started to tell everyone in the maths class that I was picking and poking it, I never did! Why would I do that inappropriate rubbish?! The teacher was late so I'm glad I wasn't in trouble, she ain't a snitch either. But I still went to clean my hands incase the people thought I actually did and judged me. I'm now feeling so awkward and embarrassed about that incident in my previous academic year.

3:48 I personally think it’s best to go into a stretching position, if you’re to deep into the wave and in a crowded area then go past the person in the direction of your wave. If it’s not a crowded area and it’s almost just you and the other person, leave the area.
