Don’t feel bad, I live in Japan and one of the guys from the base was selling his RZ 6sp for 10k obo in 2014. I couldn’t get approval for a loan and couldn’t get it. Then 6 months later my current RZ-S came up for auction at the USS Tokyo and I won it for $4800. A80s weren’t desirable then, especially auto cars.

The interesting thing is that this Supra got restored back to the "The Fast And The Furious" look, since it was actually re-used in "2 Fast 2 Furious" (like mentioned here in the video).
So, what you see here wasn't how the car actually was in the first movie/back in 2000 during filming...
(not the bodykit, wheels, spoiler from back then).
Not even the seats and steering wheel are the ones that were on the car 20 years ago, which means Paul Walker didn't even sit in/touch the current interior...
Just crazy how it sold for $550.000!

I honestly don't even think that was this car. This isn't the "Hero 1" car, it's the "Hero 2" car which is even more ridiculous.
The Hero 1 car that this guy Craig owned is the one that was repainted for Slap Jacks car in 2F2F and repainted again back to Orange, and is the car that he said is sitting in some guys garage in the Netherlands or some shit.

I think 550 is actually a good deal compared to the Hero Car Bullitt. Besides this stunt 1 has been driven by Paul Walker and is a stock 2JZ-GTE 6-Speed. Possibility is there for the new owner to do exact Hero 1 performance upgrades. Just need to get in touch with Mr. Lieberman for the list.
It's not a 6 speed. it's a 4 speed auto according to craigs previous video.
Personally I don’t think stunt cars would be worth that much... I understand why it sold so high... but Craig’s car if I had the money I’d happily 1M. If the hero 1 have never been change from its screen look in anyway, 100% think it’s a 1Mill car all day long. I wonder if Craig would want the Supra back and how much he would pay for it.

Paperwork, video footage by Craig and in the movie and anyone who had the money and was considering buying would have done extensive research and found out as much as they can from reliable sources and maybe even universal themselves

Legit price. Not a charity auction. Barrett Jackson doesn't charge buyers fees for charity auctions. $500K + 10% buyers premium = $550K total paid by buyer.

@@batuhan4002 ? The F&F Supra sold for $550k. The Gone in 60 Secs Eleanor sold for $1M USD in 2013 and then dropped to $852k USD when sold again in 2020. It's all a done deal now, the info is out there.

In this day and age if you want something fast you don’t buy a 90s Japanese car. Personally I don’t even like Japanese cars anymore because of the annoying fan base but at the time these cars we’re all I could afford so I ended up keeping what I had unbeknownst that prices would inflate to the level they have.
Still way better than any domestics but i personally prefer european. Want a custom volvo amazon at some point soon.
