In fact, the first Catholic cathedral to be consecrated in Ireland was consecrated in 1808, the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne in Cork. Mainstream history that says Ireland was 'christian' in the 5th century is bullocks (unless you're discussing Nestorian Christianity, in which case you should def. clarify -- and stop the Ukrainians from messing with Nestor's tomb).
