Leejung was always very involved in Yg group choreographies, cause she is under their dance division. Just like she is very involved with blackpinks choreographies. Street woman fighter gave her more recognition to work on the forefront more. So that’s why she is also very involved in training their trainees, since she has the position of the dance teacher.

I understand the pain, hardship and struggles they all went through just to debut not just them, in general all the kpop idols especially YG, we all know how strict they are to their trainees. and the way i teared up watching ruka’s introduction video. It’s so touching the way she expressed her dreams to be an amazing artist. Ruka made her own korean rap with her cover Justice Beiber 'Peaches' for monthly evaluation on 2021.04 and got compliment by Yang Hyunsuk. Ruka is a real artist. No wonder she survived and made it to the group despite being one of the older trainees. SHE’S TOO GOOD!

i get what you mean 😀 I can assure you there's no cringe when it comes to YG's rappers. Their rappers are real. They don't force someone who does not rap to do rapping. YG is home for rappers. Have u find someone in YG groups do that? I don't think so 😊 as long as I have been a fan of them. That's why in Baemon they have only 2 rappers that we can see so far, Ahyeon can rap too, but she highlight her vocal as well. And that was really good..
It's been so hard for them, leaving their homes, countries, families, their friends, learning a new language to communicate, spending their entire childhood training, that I don't understand how many people hate them just for being the next girl group of YG, if the entertainment industry is tough I hope people don't make it worse

Blackpink has a dance mentor they call her POTATO TEACHER.
Treasure mentor was the kwon twins (they also joined streetmen fighter) but now kwon twins are having a busy schedule. so Giant ysl (a ygx choreogapher also is incharge with treasure)
LEEJUNG Lee is incharge to babymonster .. Lee jung lee is also incharge with some blackpink's choreo's and she also did some kpop groups choreo's ( example: itzy wannabe dance choreo. mostly of twice choreo was done by lee jung lee also.)
YG has YGX DANCERS who is well knowed in sokor.. all dancers their are pretty famous also
I think ysl is has a group named hi tech, if I remember correctly they’re the backup dancers of BigBang, and while 2ne1 had crazy. Those 2 groups worked with royal family especially with Paris.

Ruka is my bias....if LiSoo had a child it would be Ruka haha...she has that charm and innocent looks like Jisoo...and the swag when dancing and rapping like Lisa. Its sad seeing her cry....she knows time has stopped for her and all her friends got a career now and helping their family while she is still waiting to debut all these years....ALL the best to Ruka and Babymonster...they will kill it once they debut!

Pharita's name is pronounced Pa-ri-ta btw. And the "r" isn't pronounced like the "r/l" in Korean.

yeahh especially for Japanese n Thai names its still R, for korean, its not necessarily "L" sounding, its like a blend of both L&R

It's been bugging me too hahaha. Ruka is Japanese, and Pharita is Thai. Their name is pronounced as R instead of the korean R/L. And it's not L, its supposed to be between R and L. And also you can hear when she's introducing herself she said Ruka, not Luka. And when her friend congratulating her for being an adult, her friend also called her Ruka, so I dont know why he kept saying Luka, Phalita, etc2. Plus it's romanised as R and not L, so there should be no confusion there.

Leejung has been a YGX/YG dancer and choreographer for years! She's worked with/choreographed for Blackpink and Lisa's solo stuff... as well as other YG artists. But she's also worked with other idols as well.

RORA - ROH RA not Lola
PARITA - no H or F sound
RUKA - RU KA not Luka
Also, they have YG AUDITIONS. Idk why ppl keep saying where do they find them lol

YGx is extension of YG training curriculum. Their job is to train and oversee the training progresses, join other staff with monthly evaluations and have their own Academy work as choreographers. Then they also work with YG artist comebacks, tours etc.
Lee jung is one of the leaders of the YG dance groups. She is under YG dance academy.
They are free to choreograph non YG groups. But they represent YG and conduct dance classes in Korea and overseas when they are with blackpink World tour.
Lee jung is just part of their so called teachers? There's vocal and rap too, even have teachers for acting. Idk if they were being taught about producing but the yg producers also can play some parts about teaching them one or two.
Actually she wrote her rap in the evaluation so maybe they also have mentors who are teaching them about producing music

Watching reaction videos of BABYMONSTER.... I notice most reaction youtubers gained knowledge about YG ( love it!!) ..... and some didn't🤦🏽♀️.
When you know YG, their strategy and how they work becomes clear. You will know that YG always delivers. So seeing some new fans or reaction youtubers say " I hope YG doesn't give them this and this....". Or " I hope the girls talent can be shown trough their music...." or some shit like that. 😂I can't. ITS YG YOU TALKING ABOUT BRUHHH. Mayb I'm of kpop who trusts YG. It's just fascinating to see some multi stans who aren't that deep into groups to find any need for more knowledge.
Leejung is the senior choreographer of YGX, so she works with almost every group at YG along with Somi at the The Black Label.
I think the r is pronounced but without the tongue roll btw the dance teacher is YG OG dance choreographer, she's always there along with others
Lee Jung is a YG dance instructor also. She does Choreo for YG also. You see her in Lisa's Money video front and center. The only one I know she is a dedicated instructor for is Somi. Because in Somi's video from last summer she meets Lee Jung Lee at the studio and they talk how it was so long since they met.(Because of Street Woman Fighter.)
Edit I found and Article that she is the dance trainer of Somi, Rose, plus Nayeon and Momo.
Yang Hyun-suk has a knack for discovering insanely talented people! I don't entirely like YG's tactics butttt their artists can really shine and will undoubtedly become successful.

R's in Japanese are a mix between an R and and L (I use the front of my tongue to pronounce it rather than using my lips to roll the RL sound in my Japanese classes). It can be difficult to get the hang of at first but that should be how Ruka's name is pronounced - hope it helps 😊

Vocal coaches are always yelling about diction. A lot of singers gets super lazy with their diction. The little one, uh, was it Rora? The first one if it wasn’t Rora, and just THIS video. She needs to work on that. The 2 other girls are light years ahead of her, BUT that is because they are older. She’s got an amazing base. All the girls of baby monster are so talented. The younger ones are gonna be formidable. They’re excellent and only going to get better. I’m excited to see it.

😂 He's pronouncing the names according to how SK based Koreans by majority do because their R sounds naturally come out as L sounds. Spent 5 and half years teaching/participating in English conversations with overseas Korean students ranging from middle school age to the elderly. He isn't too far off the mark with the pronunciation. 😎
