I laughed so hard at the end when he looked a bit worried at the amount of plants he now has and doesn't know what to do with anymore haha. Its because I can relate to that and know that feeling. Don't we all gardeners been through it? 🙈
Great Michael. The should grow if you steep the seeds. Be careful of too much sun. Thank you for watching... Pascal. BTW My other channel is called "Irish Chippy' as most videos are woodworking, but there are some gardening also. Thank you again for watching.
Thanks for the tips! Just stsrted growing Parsley and finally some leaves showed up after more than 2 weeks. I almost thought they died. Lol. Great channel btw. 😊
This is an inspiration, I'm trying to grow parsley from seeds. And I'm still waiting for the seeds to germinate. Hoping to have a successful growth ☺️☺️☺️
Hi..I agree with you to estimate the seeds to sprout. I have done that with my first ever plant bell peppers & I ended up using 17 pots individually so they can grow better. Im doing container gardening as I dont have space to do planting on the ground..I tried your technique by soaking the seeds into water. After 10 days, I can see them started to sprout. I was worried at first because I felt like my seeds will be wasted but now Im happy. Waiting for them to have its true leaves so I can transfer them into its permanent pot. All the best and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
This was very helpful. I've tried to grow parsley from seeds soooo many times now but after their germination, true leaves come so slow that I always thought I failed it
The video turns to somewhat funny color when you show a basin of thousands of baby parsley crowed up that were enough to fill up half of soccer field when it fully grown... Fun to watch.
Thank you so much for sharing! Very inspiring content :))) I hope to grow my parsely too though I didn't soak the seeds in warm water because back then I wasn't really aware of that technique. I hope you make more gardening videos! ☺️
That’s why I have issues with parsley. Warm water tip is great, thanks! I wonder if we could pour hot water over parsley seeds already planted? It would be very convenient.
Well if they they have not geminated after a few weeks, I cannot see how it would hurt. You could take up a few seeds and see how they are doing. Thank you for watching
Im imagining a design for a 3DP handheld seed sowing device for this. Im thinking use the standard gel-blaster's chambering mechanism and splice it with a handheld flour sifting tin mechanism. 🤔 methinks it maybe time to buy a 3D printer.
Thanks for the tips...I got also this Italian parsley but I'm scared they will die hope not...I will transfer them maybe when they are young already....
"my advice is don't grow too many at once if you don't have the space" me who is watching this after setting an entire seed packet to soak for the 24 hours: uh oh... (my roommate has rabbits who love the stuff I'm sure it'll be fine)
i am quite jealous of your parsleys. been trying with the RAmgo seeds but only a couple had germinated the first time I did but died before their true leaves sprouted. I'm in the southernmost part of the Philippines (most days start with 25 with the hottest 34 celcius) and I only just learned that it needed colder temp to fully grow. this latest batch I put in room temp water for about 6 hours. hopefully this time will be better. any tips?
As you see I germinated under a gazebo (tent) where a breeze from the see kept them a bit cooler. We are in Southern Leyte, and temperatures are similar to your. The Italian big leaf varieties do best. Good luck with next batch, and thank you for watching.
Hello! Great video! :) learned a lot. I am about to plant my own parsley. May i ask, once you put the seeds in the pots, do you need to water them everyday?
Loved the video, and I had no idea about soaking the seeds. Can you tell me how long did it take to grow the parsley to size in the small pots? I know it will probably be longer in Ontario, Canada in the cool winter compared to the Philippines.
I was talking about using Coca-Cola plastic bottles that are clear. The roots of most plants do not like light and the tend to grow away from the sides of transparent pots and thus not make full use the space within. There are exceptions including orchids. We grow orchids with fully exposed to the air roots. Clear plastic also encourages algae growth. Thank you for watching
@@growNglow i just planted 9 arugula seeds, trying hydroponic but your video was super informative, i love it. i think your knowledge is very impressive as a city dweller in texas, im just now learning to grow, wish we lived near each other we could do great things. Love your videos
@@johnzamer3142 Great Stuff John. We grow arugula all the time over here as it is much more tolerant of the heat than lettuce. We call it rocket back in Ireland. How it grows well for you.

Thanks for sharing your germination tip. I'm going to try it.
Good luck with the seeds. thank you for watching
Glad to know you're in the Philippines though I recognized in an instant your Irish accent.
Yeah Elbert, a dead giveaway. My other channel is called 'Irish Chippy' and some people still ask what country I am from 🤣😂 Thanks for watching
I'm FROM FIJI ISLANDS. Thanks a lot.

Good man, Pat. I'm about to start growing parsley myself here in Palawan.

is loam soil is okay? thankyou for the great video!
I am not usually so fussy about soil type. A good compost is usually helpful. Thank you for watching
@@growNglow thankyou!!!!
Do u keep the media wet until they sprout or no need?
If you cover you shouldn't need to. Do not allow it to dry out but at the same time, do not drench. Thank you for watching

When they are mature I keep them moist all the time
Are you sowing directly on compost from the start?
Yes. Home made compost. Thank you for watching
love it

Do you leave in a tropical country like the Philippines
I do indeed. Southern Leyte 😊

What kind of soil did you use? And how often do you water it?
Thank you for watching. I just use homemade compost. Parsley needs to be kept moist, so I do not let it dry out
@@growNglow just have the same question.. thanks for replying to this 😁
Hello! Great video! :) learned a lot. I am about to plant my own parsley. May i ask, once you put the seeds in the pots, do you need to water them everyday?
Not at all. Just do not let the soil dry out. It is very hot here, so I grow in the shade. I used a mister to moisten the soil
Thanks so much!
Most welcome

Thank you Kevin. About 6 weeks
Uhm can i ask??? Can i grow them if i didn't soak them??
Yes. They will grow without soaking, but I find soaking makes germination faster, with higher rates. thank you for watching
Can you please tell me how much should the water temperature be for steeping the seeds ?
Thanks.
Best wishes from India 🇮🇳
Some people use near boiling water, but I just use lukewarm (tepid).
