Just lost my 17, almost 18 year old Himalayan, and this video is spot on. I will be finding his fluff in my home for years to come... miss my fuffus 😞
asides from the shedding, most of these can be addressed. also, i love my himalayan's energy! she wakes me up every morning and i just love the affection she craves.
Can you please share me what you feed your Himalayan cat?
i have 2 himalyan cats i love both of them & they're best cats in the world ❤
Yes they are. I have two female sisters
Food ki routene kya ha kese dete ho
I have 2 girls one is 1 years and 7 months and the other girl is 3 months
@@farwasahito442Himalayan cats food ki bht moodi Hoti hain... Mere pas bhi male hai or bht heeeee moodi hai huuffff....
We had to say goodbye to our Himmie yesterday truly one the saddest days ever for us
I adore my Himalayan, shedding and all. She's loving and fun...love her zoomies.
I just had to put down our beautiful Himmie yesterday after battling cancer. He had the most beautiful personality you could ever ask for. I don’t like calling him a cat these breeds are truly special. Never hissed growled or ever scratched us.
😢
Same with my boy. Just this week. He was the best.
@@1flychicken 😢
@@1flychicken I’m sorry it’s rough
@@720erik2 I'm sorry to you too. It's been the hardest ever. Sending you some love.
I have had 2 Himalayan cats and they are the easiest most loving cat breed. Yes shedding is there but it mostly clumps together for easy pickup. Unlike other breeds and the hair is like little strands of straw everywhere. Love my himy.
Every “point” made in this video, describes about 80% of cats. Regardless of their breed. I have an American Tabby and he has every trait listed. Don’t waste your time on click bait. 😂 If you don’t like any of these traits, then you’re better off not owning a cat at all. If their breed doesn’t typically have the traits listed, they can still learn them depending on their environment.
This cat is literally my spirit animal. Especially the random spurts of energy.
Also, these reasons are literally what all cats are like. Cats wanting to play is the most common thing in ALL BREEDS.
Hey .. whatever you have mentioned is just not right.. I have 6 Himalayan cats and trust me they are the best companions one can ever have... sorry but not sorry 😐
We just lost our cat we think it was a himalayan cat/ most beautiful heart of a cat.
I love my Himmy. He’s beautiful and super sweet
Got one as a stray. Looks just like a himalayan, ordered a DNA test for confirmation but shes absolutely perfect. She follows me everywhere i go. She is the most needy thing ive ever had. Ahes perfect in almost every way. Only thing shes terrible at is traveling. Shes also slightly spoiled... Lolol. She koves playing, etc. shew purrfect.
We loved our Himie...He was gentle and sweet. Of course I wore a lot of black and in the winter time I had gone out , more than once, with white cat fur all over my black wool coat. His hair would just seem to float in the air.........yes he was brushed every day! Spoiled him too.
In terms of temperament, they’re close to perfect
I had three at once and they were wonderful kitties. They all had different personalities. They all lived 12 years and I lost them one by one. I still miss them everyday.
I have 4 loud kids 18 -5, gizmo is so chill and doesn't mind the noise. I began just training him but the owner didn't realize she was allergic to cats and gave him to me since I have Tabby's. I gained a loyal sweet often annoying best friend😂
I have 3 kids 12-5 and they are so good with them. They don’t bite or scratch. They don’t hiss. They look miserable when my 5 year old picks them up but they are so chill they just go with it. Seriously the best cats in the world!
1.i am fine with being covered it cat fur i am used to it bc of how many cats i have had 2+3.my cat will get the uncontrollable zoomies and runs around the house like crazy and i would consider that exercise i also do play with my himalayan 4.that wont be a problem bc i am locked in my house 5.my himalayan cat has adjusted to my other pets 6.my himalayan trained herself
Half the cats shown in this video are Birman cats and a few others are Ragdolls. Make sure that you know your cats. All the spoken info is correct in the video, for a Himalayan.
More than half were not himalayans 🧐. I only saw a few towards the end.
You should do your research. My himi is the exact opposite of your post. 😢
I have 2 Himalayan cats at home and they're not even siblings or same age.. They have 2 different personalities but seriously nothing of what you've mentioned is true.. Sorry to say don't just Google stuff
Depends on the owner, all cats are amazing and unique in their own way, you need to choose based on your personality & your situation and be the best partner and owner for them.
Yes good point. It all depends!
I agree
Well I don't see it a problem for me actually. I really like it when you said that himalayan cats are really energetic because I need one for my haft persian that likes to play so much! Thank you for the info😊❤
Thanks for sharing!
Ha... to me, there's no reason NOT to have a Himmie. That's why I do have them.
My Himalayan sleeps all the time.
Me too
So does mine!
It's a cat?
Same
So does mine
My Himalayan follows around every single stranger that comes into my house….they are mostly contractors to repair hurricane damage. It’s hilarious. This is the friendliest, most outgoing cat I have ever had and I have had many.
My himi es the opposite to this video
Some things are a matter of perspective.
Love my Himalayan Boys ❤️ they are gentle, quiet, sweet and love to cuddle. They are very very good with my kids as well who can be quite obnoxious. They are brothers from the same litter. We love when they play and get their burst of energy. They don’t knock stuff down very often. Overall the best cats ever!
i love my himalayan cat 😆😆😆 because of his craziness 😆
I didn't realize that my Himmy was bored until I adopted a beagle puppy. Shadow loved having a playmate! She would tip the waste paper basket over and jump onto the desk to watch puppy Oscar get into trouble. She would walk back and forth in front of Oscar until he grabbed her neck and dragged her across the parquet floor on her back. Separation anxiety was an issue when she was young but not later. Btw, her name was Shadow because she was always by my ankle. If I left a room, she followed.
i have one and shes really cute and majestic
A have a himalayan cat and shes the best she dosent bother at all!
I wish I could see how many dislikes this video has
Before 4 months we moved out to VIPs and we bought new furniture and accessories and when someone came to our house they would be like this cat is your house accessory you do not need any accessories 😜
Uhhhhh all 7 points apply to ANY cat with the exception of fur which you can only work around if you get a hairless cat 😂
Thank you! I said the exact same thing. Glad I’m not the only one that thinks this.
That’s what I said! All cats shed. You can’t avoid it if you have a cat. I prefer long hair shedding. It doesn’t make me itch and it’s soft.
Me and my himalayan cat are watching 💁
So getting a cat that has hair and has energy and knocks things over???
My himmy is the laziest cat I've ever had he's so sweet and loving and quiet but the separation anxiety is the only true part
Not once did he mention their tear duct problem. Their eyes will need to be washed with a warm washcloth every morning and wiped throughout the day. They are also prone to stomatitis and may need teeth pulled. Their fur needs to be brushed daily so they don’t get mats.
i can name 7 reasons your video sux ) himalayan cats are awesome
All reasons are at point 😂I have himalayan cat
This is bull my short hair cat sheds worse. Himalayan cats are the best cats to have so sweet. So lovable. This is all bull.
Anyone else here because of that TikTok of the 911 call where the Himalayan cat attacked the baby, the dad kicked it, and it went off on the whole family??
#8 reason not to get a Himalayan cat: the snot you have to clean off the walls 😂
If your looking for Noah's arch your outta the Park. That's Pocatellos art.
Sypher
I have 14 Himalayan cats, and I am happy with the cat, depending on your upbringing of it from childhood, no more, no less
14 would be heaven for me. I love them so much.
Just here because a 911 video of a Himalayan attacking a family.
I have a hymalian cat and what you say is totally inaccurate.
This is literally all cats, it's just a matter of training and socializing.
she has ... ULTRA ZOOMIES? IM SOLD!
Not all Himalayans are the same- even coming from the same litter. The reasons I would cite for not getting them would be:
1. Cardiomyopathy occurrence is higher
2. Eye issues (tearing and susceptibility to injury)
3. You might wind up with one who hates being combed
4. They have a love of singing the song of their people at odd hours of the night
5. Don’t buy from a breeder! There are many, many cats and kittens who need homes. Too many kitty mill minded breeders out there who are only out for the money. A true lover of the breed would not do it for financial gain and it’s an expensive hobby to breed and show cats so they’re doing it at a financial loss.
great info thanks for sharing!
There's breeders who actually love the breed and want their cats to be healthy AND not all countries have cat shelters
The third one in your pictur and litteraly half of the cat you shown are not himalyan cat at all its a sacred birman....
Can female Himalayan kitties be, Heralayans?
Yesss,especially when birthing Kittens.meWOW!!!
Jokes on you my cat is a Himalayan cat
too bad,i already got it 3 years ago
aside from the shedding this is highly generalized. can apply to ANY cat. himmy hater.
4 one is not true at all but I still love this kind of.
Cat and I bought it
You seriously failed at talking me out of a Himalayan.
😂😂😂
And as far as grooming I brush my two girls daily
🤡 watching this video with my 8 Himalayan cats
If you not able to follow any of these you should not get a pet. They are still a responsibility not an accessory
All bull easy cats .
Thats birman dud
Haters be like:
This video is wrong.
A Himalayan is a Persian cat with coloured points. I never saw a Himalayan in this video.
As per my Avi I have a colour point persian and there is no reason for anyone not to own one. They are the most sweetest, friendliest, non fussy cat breed I've ever known.
The only one thing they essentially need apart from love is a brush every day.
They are the most gentlest, non active of all cat breeds.
They aren't Birmans!
My himmie is THE BEST!!! very intelligent
I am a Himalayan cat
Mmmmrrrrpppp
Himalayan cats are the best for solo people.
Thats birman dud
