@@OldDominionTroutBum thank you sir. Stuck some good ones for sure. Still kinda surprises me that those two fish were in basically the same spot. Must mean there is plenty of food to go around.

Appreciate it Dale. The dashes downstream certainly keep things interesting!

That’s some great foot work. Running down that river takes some skills.

Yeah, wading that river is no joke! Good boots and a wade staff are a must. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video… also love that water as well! What knot to you use from tippet to fly? I’m using clinch but not sure if it’s most effective

Thanks man. I appreciate the support. The knot is a pitzen or 16/20 knot tied using my forceps. It is by far the strongest knot for light tippet that I have found. I used the clinch all the time as well until I had trouble with it breaking when I’d use 6x or less. You can find the video for that knot on old dominion trout bum’s TH-cam channel. Devin Olsen also has a video on tying it without the use of forceps on Tactical Fly fishing.

First video I’ve seen from you! Love it!
I also have the tilt reel. How many of those weights do you have to balance out the Diamondback? And is that the 10’ 2wt?
    Looks like an awesome setup!!

Thanks buddy. I appreciate it a lot. Just started a couple of months ago but I love making them. That DB is the 10’10” 2wt. I have one weight on the tilt for that rod. I also own the DB 10’ 2wt but I have a Galvan GEN 3.5 on that one. The tilt would be a little heavy for the 10 footer. It’s empty weight is 5.7oz and the Galvan empty is 4.9oz. I also use the TILT on the DB 10’ 10” 6wt for steelhead. I landed 25 of them in one day last year on that setup. I appreciate the support and please consider subscribing if you haven’t already.
