I do on the other hand own about 13 booster boxes worth of sealed Evolving Skies packs that a bought at retail price. Also I have been purchasing vintage Umbreon and Charizards over the past year at insanely cheap prices! I got a PSA 10 1st edition Umbreon for $5,500 last year along with too many other grails to name. Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy. 🔥🐉

25:10 that is hilarious you bought it lol. I have a PSA 1 card that I pack pulled and is minty. Almost surely was meant to be a 10. Shows that they can literally be off to both extremes of their scale.
honest question: what's wrong with that guy trying to get a payout from PSA? PSA clearly made the mistake, if they actually have a policy that they will reimburse incorrect grades why not let him try? why is that "bad intentions"? maybe im missing context but confused about that. if its not actually in their terms, they'll tell him tough luck and deactivate, if its in their terms let them pay for their mistake, why screw over a collector?
The reimbursement policy is not for incorrect grades, but to compensate when a buyer buys a card for market value that is not worth the grade. The original owner of the PSA 10 graded his damaged card himself, and there wasn’t a transaction, therefore even though PSA made a mistake, he didn’t lose any money because he didn’t buy the card. Had there been a transaction occurring, PSA would have to pay out the buyer for the difference in value.

isn't it also possible vintage holos are undervalued...bc....(trigger warning)..there is genuinely less demand for them for a lot of the hobby who got in (and stayed) in the last 3-4 years? to be clear i do think market manipulation is part of this recent spike, but hey swsh out of print, all the booster boxes going up (and will prob be higher in 5 years)..think of how much you'd have to spend on ES boxes to have a realistic shot at pulling a moonbreon, so the "fomo" might be at least somewhat be rational. i do think most alt arts will retrace maybe 20-30% in the next couple of months but prob go back even higher in 2-3 years but i don't see why modern alt arts can't demand a higher price point than most vintage holos which a large portion of the hobby have had no interaction with and will never pull or even attempt to chase bc vintage sets are so expensive and hard to find for your modern collector. i got into the hobby 3-4 years ago and have loved it and when i finished all my alts i dabbled a bit with older stuff but its just not nearly as fun since I didn't experience the sets and all the fun/anticipation of the release and ripping the packs. just my 2c
