@@ScottAT Looked like there was sufficient power to run a drill press, angle grinder and welder? So you can buy that kind of equipment in Peru but not a common door/gate latch?
@@ScottAT So they don't have a "whole lotta money," so they can't afford a door/gate latch perhaps. But buying a drill press, drill bits, angle grinder and welder is no problem? And access to things like Allen Bolts/Screws, and steel stock doesn't seem to be a problem either. I guess this video is made by "The Elites." We have a program for people in prison, they stamp out license plates.

Finally!!!! I can't tell you how long I've been searching for a device to hold the gates shut. I've been shoving one of the billy goat's horns between them to wedge them shut but he doesn't seem to like it much.

The only issue I have is the latch is too close to the opening at the top. It should be lower so that if you don’t have a pad lock installed it can not be opened from outside. I have mine 3 and 4 feet from the top of my fence. With padlocks in both. After an attempted break in, I have double locks and security cameras 360 degrees around my house plus a dog and Security by Glock.

While the movable door is closing, it may be sufficient to pull the door. There is a simple shape you can make with your hand without lifting that metal. I think slope the fixed piece

А в принципе на петле с левой стороны можно сэкономить,болт приварить прямо к воротам,)))для единичного случая конечно не подойдёт )))),а для массового производства уголок можно сэкономить!!!!)))
