Some days ago I tried to listen free french radio course, which was in polish but after few minutes I stopped. They were not repeating, not translating...first lesson was so advanced that I got simply annoyed. After all I'm here again, talking english to learn french sitting in poland :D lol thanks Alexa, you're the best :)

It's interesting that a chicken is ''un'' poulet and a sheep is ''un'' mouton. Since they are normally in the feminine gender but counted as masculine in French.

Hi,Alexa a little confused again with the last consonant in horse "cheval" I notice you pronounce the "L" in in the word. Also is there an easy way to know to work out if the noun is male or female or do you just have to learn them by heart. A bein tot bisou bisou.
When an animal isn't your pet and there are 2 different words for male and female how do you know which word to use like if you see a sheep un mouton or une brebis while driving past a farm?
