After as emergency open chest surgery and a 4 night stay in the hospital, I was finally able to bring my dog home. Vancouver was experiencing a snowy long weekend.
Hi Larry, thank you for asking. Both Ollie and I are doing much much better. Ollie is sleeping a lot and eating well so that's made me feel more confident that his recovery is going well so far.
Watching your story makes me have very high hopes for my puppy who we just found out has a lung lobe torsion. He is just so small and he’s 12 years old with tracheal collapse so they aren’t confident he is a good candidate for this surgery. May I ask, How old is Ollie and how is he doing today? How long was his recovery?
I hope everything goes well with your dog. Sending you best wishes. Ollie was 7 at the time and we don’t know how it happened. After the surgery, it took many months to recover.
