Thank you so much. I’ve just got mine and tomorrow I start my walking routine. I’m 67 and will have to start slowly but I’m confident these will help with my balance and confidence. Best wishes from Australia 🥰🦘🦘🦘
Nice to see you and Michael and the cats and toby.hope you are feeling better soon hailey.you are such an inspiration to me.as I have pulmonary fibrosis.hope everything goes well in newcastle.take care 😊
My good friend and I just started today based on your video. We hope to do better with more practice. Thank you for this useful video. Greetings from Malaysia.
I found some old 1980's bamboo cross country ski poles in my basement and I've been walking my trails with them. I even wear light weights on my ankles and wrists for higher exertion. The poles make walking rough terrain safer and they force the arms to get involved. I found a waltz timing works for me, so waltz songs are in my mind when I use poles.

What are benefits of this technique?
Is it helpful when hiking up hills?
Thank you for the tips, your video is very useful!
Do you have advice on the correct height of stick, what angle at the elbow, thank you.
Yes, helpful. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Very good lesson.
What poles do you recommend?
Thanks so much ! Good job!
Glad it helped!
How can I adjust my holding of the piles if I'm visiting a tourist area where I'm walking all day and I don't want to get tired. Is this possible?
Apparently the very invasive Japanese Knotweed even exists in Norway.
Could you tell me how to put weight on the poles as I walk? thank you.
Can se use the same technique for camino and with backpack? Thank you
Most useful video so far 👍
Glad to hear that!
You need to walk at right angles to the screen so we can actually see what is happening. Looking at you from behind does not teach anyone.
