For everyone revisiting this guide for the rerun, be wary that if you use Thorns instead of Arene, you need to retreat him AS SOON AS that right side is just the Emperor's Blade and the Striker. If not, Thorns will burn EB and get Dominion on him.
You beautiful and handsome lad! Managed to pass through with your strategy! Although had to change it in order for it to adapt to my operators, including Silverash since I used him instead of Surtr. Finally, and I thought I'd fail this event
I beat this stage using 8 ops. Silverash, Thorns, Siege, Bagpipe, Eyja, Saria (S3), Surtr and Aak. The key is timing and positioning of your units on those areas where the boss stops for a few seconds. This is probably the hardest stage so far at least in my opinion.
It's absolutely incredible when a stage makes you swap out Saria and Hoshiguma for Gummy and Cuora. I had trouble keeping Nearl (E1, level 65) alive as the final tank for the boss, so I swapped to Cuora and that did the trick. I used Silverash instead of Midnight, so I pointed him up instead of right. That still let me use S3 to help clear the pre-boss enemies when needed and let him take out the mage in his lane on his own since he could attack him where he spawns. Other little notes: if you have a good initial vanguard and ranged guard, you don't need to drop the first medic in right away. If you have higher-cost operators and can't get down the two 1-block vanguards that hold off the bears from the sides in time, saving the medic until after they're down can help with that. Also, a sufficiently leveled Vigna (E2 level 30, S7) can handle the bears coming down the right side without a medic, saving you DP.
Holy crap, I... I actually cleared this on my first try by following this strategy with high rarity operators, I'm so on edge I'm gonna need a glass of water to calm down lol That was so intense, sweet mother of Ecko. The artillery drone will kill your Caster if you don't deploy Cuora after them. Alternatively, out-dps it if you're employing a stronger Caster than Click. There is such a thing as too strong an Healing Defender. Saria can and will slug it out against the Boss, and win right up until he uses his ability. If you're not careful, she can rake up enough damage to become the target of the Dominion ability. You can however shape your strategy around that if you want a slower battle order. Excellent guide as always.
JESUS! This was TOUGH!!!! I legit spent like 6 hours trying to find something before winning this damn quest. Now I check yours and see something rather similar! Congratz boss, and go get some rest!!!
after spending four hours getting the timings right in normal mode, I managed to one shot the challenge mode thanks to your guide. well and silverash clearing the 3 elites at the top.
Great guide. Stallknights ftw. This stage was pain. Kept messing up because my Gummy is E2 lvl 30, and kept getting the dominion on her. I used Spot, and was able to stall long enough for the second phase. From there DP was an issue, so I had to keep using Texas as a dp bomb to set up for the final wave. Thanks again for the guide, this stage was hard.
7:00 - I drop vanguards in, but they die before Surtr can do a lot of damage. At 10:00 in, Surtr dies before Cuora can get to 30s before recharge even with healers. Level 70, no less. I don't know how you managed to keep her upright here.
Yeah I can't pass this with Hoshi... Casting the 2nd Dominion on her like in the high rarity non-cm guide. Will have to drop this stage until I E2 another Defender (Croissant, Bison planned for the future), and then I'll build them to match Cuora's attack specifically for this stage.
Ugh. This was so...so very rough. I was missing some needed things. I don't even have four leveled single target medics, for one. I spent XP and money to get Hibiscus up to a decent level and managed to make Ptilopsis work as my fourth. Neither my Hoshi nor Cuora are E2 yet though, my two highest defenders, so I had to borrow someone's else's Hoshi. I'm so very thankful that they redid the support system. I managed it, if barely. This definitely did motivate me to get at least one of my defenders to E2 right quick though. Just have to pick between Cuora, who'd be cheaper, or if I should push for the longer haul for Hoshi first.
Dangit I got so close to clearing with this guide, but I was using Guma and she did too much damage and drew the final Dominion. It went from running *super* smoothly to being all over in a heartbeat ughhh Don't use Guma in place of Cuora everyone!! Edit: Still haven't been able to clear it. Just can't seem to get it right for some reason :/ My team is Myrtle, Zima, Texas, Bagpipe, Ansel, Shining, Silence, Folinic, Lappy, Ceobe, Gummy, Surtr (support), Hoshiguma (now swapping for Croissant)
PHEW finally managed to clear this without Surtr! Requires 4 defenders (To block the guys at the end) so need Myrtle and enough DP to deploy Caster & healing defender left side quick enough. (To not need vigna/plume).
Turns out its even easier to use than using SA, also if you bring sa instead do not overuse him to kill the emperor or you might ran out of DP before you can fully set last defense
I used my E2 Lappland instead of Arene and it seems that's a mistake since she manages to reduce the striker's HP that Gummy tanked to below half and ended up killing her lmao. Edit: manages to find a way out of that but met with another obstacle. My Cuora is E1 max and she keeps dying while taking the boss' attacks on phase 2 when Lappland tries to wiggle out the last dominion.
Thank you Eckogen!!!!! I really needed this especially since my wife is ready to deliver our fourth child any day soon! So completing this really helps and I can be ready for my wife and family! Sincerely appreciate your effort!!!

5:09 following this and my Cuora shouted out in sync that was a little freaky
Everyone is friend till WD EX-8 came. Cheers Ecko!
Eckogen, you have become my father. I love you from the bottom of my heart. Tysm.
you make it look so easy
thanks for the guide 😊
Cuora will carry you through just fine. Don't really need Hoshi.

Thank you.
thanks a bunch ecko!
Dangit I got so close to clearing with this guide, but I was using Guma and she did too much damage and drew the final Dominion.
It went from running *super* smoothly to being all over in a heartbeat ughhh
Don't use Guma in place of Cuora everyone!!
Edit: Still haven't been able to clear it. Just can't seem to get it right for some reason :/
My team is
Myrtle, Zima, Texas, Bagpipe, Ansel, Shining, Silence, Folinic, Lappy, Ceobe, Gummy, Surtr (support), Hoshiguma (now swapping for Croissant)
Might be easier if you reach out on Discord. You can then show us your set up and we can advise.
Goddamn, I spent waaay too much time trying to big brain my way outta this one...
Shoutouts to my friend's M3 Surtr, that guy's a hero
Stable, easy to understand, affordable units (Except for Surtr) who's mostly E1 max lvl. I've been save, thank you Eckogen 👍
PHEW finally managed to clear this without Surtr! Requires 4 defenders (To block the guys at the end) so need Myrtle and enough DP to deploy Caster & healing defender left side quick enough. (To not need vigna/plume).
Gummy is just chilling on this map nothing gonna phase her
My heart was not ready for “Among Us”
Ergh. Fuck this stage. I spent several hours trying to beat phase 2. >.< Thanks Ecko! You came through again!
even i can clear this CM stage with your advice (mybe almost 8 hourse for only this stage) but anyway thanks for the guide
Ty this stage was a ure hell...
Finished on the very last day thank you
Most hated stage so far. Thx for the guide
Finally a fckn guide i could fckn use to clear this shitty stage
Big thanks srsly
Turns out its even easier to use than using SA, also if you bring sa instead do not overuse him to kill the emperor or you might ran out of DP before you can fully set last defense
What would we do without this man
I used my E2 Lappland instead of Arene and it seems that's a mistake since she manages to reduce the striker's HP that Gummy tanked to below half and ended up killing her lmao.
Edit: manages to find a way out of that but met with another obstacle. My Cuora is E1 max and she keeps dying while taking the boss' attacks on phase 2 when Lappland tries to wiggle out the last dominion.
Thank you very much
Thanks ecko, my medal its completed now. Imo this stage is harder cm to me
There is also a limit to his dominion rosa can proc dominion and just keep doing dps until he procs another dominion onto rosa.
Yup, 3 dominions in phase 2.
I did it after 2 tries thanks Eckodad
surtr appreciation week
Thank you Eckogen!!!!! I really needed this especially since my wife is ready to deliver our fourth child any day soon! So completing this really helps and I can be ready for my wife and family! Sincerely appreciate your effort!!!
Congratz on the 4th one! May you have a prosperous and healthy family.
@@Eckogen thank you! My wife safely delivered my daughter today 💕
Well, I guess if you pull Cuora early, Surtr's basic attack will kill the guy lol. It was quite a situation when that happened.
That we need from our king eckogen
Thank you!
Can you do a High-Stars version of this for the rerun? I'm having trouble with this stage.
