I think she was just nosy AF. I've delt with old women like that before. I don't think she was going to take it, but I do think she was going to violate Jon's privacy and look in the bag.
Jon we need the backyard pond fishing again… I need it so bad, I want to see you fishing it and I want to see it getting extensions and it becoming a bigger pond or lake 😭
we do have same perches in Ukraine, Kyiv :) as for the baits usually we do use such kind of micro lures as you are doing on that video, that is our regular sizes :) 2 - 2.5 inches, we named lures as tiny when they are less then 1 inch size :)
Learned years ago that tiny baits get bit by EVERYTHING. Crappie and trout fishing had me catching bass and catfish almost as often as whenI was targeting them specifically.
These Japanese lure designers are on another level!! Been using a lot of Japanese design baits. Geecrack has got it going on with the Bellows Gill. I've now found some great mini Micro finesse baits from there as well. Good stuff to fish with when you want that multi species bite. It can really be the answer to fishing heavy pressured waters and not being skunked. Good video
The Sebasticook empties out into the Kennebec, then the Atlantic. Have you ever tried pushaw stream to pushaw lake for some big pike and multispecies action?
in the state of Maine property needs to be clearly posted on all four corners for it to be legitimately "posted" so every 100 feet there needs to be a sign or its free game
I haven’t tried micro lures yet, but I do see how you can get more bites. Also I am surprised you didn’t get more yellow perch. I am stationed in Maine and I catch them all the time.
To me, ultra light starts at 1/16th oz and goes down from there. Part of the fun is finding the tiny lures such as a 16th buzz bait or a 1/2 inch crankbait. Lots of fun even with a small fish!
Micro lures are so fun. I have a huge collection and fish all over Europe, usually urban fishing. I catch so many species in the strangest places. Great fun. (micro lures in Europe are smaller than the ones you call micro)
I always remember the saying "Big fish will take a small hook but a small fish won't take a big hook" i love fishing with smaller lures and hooks because you can catch inch long fish or monsters, and everything puts up a good fight 👌😂
Lmao I was starting to wonder why the segment with the older lady was going on for so long and then I hear you say “Is she picking up our stuff?” and the edit made a lot of sense 😂 I like to give people to benefit of a doubt when I’m chilling out fishing, but if somebody started snooping expensive gear (if I had any) I’d be a little anxious lmao. You handled that well
I feel ya man. Just lost the biggest Maine bass I've had yet on my homemade glidebait. My drag wasn't ready. Took me for a ride and I lost it in the bushes. Saw it try to shake it.
I once picked up a PB 8lb smallie on a little 1.5" rappala countdown, on some 5lb line. It was a hell of a fight lol. Never underestimate the micro lures!
i used to wear my crocs all the time for fishing but yesterday picked up a pair of H2O hey dudes and man im loving them for walking into the water.. you should check em out if you like the style
@@andrewboyce7268 oh really my pb is 6 pounds largemouth but I’ve never fished big lakes or anything in Kentucky bc I don’t have a boat and I’m 16 but yeah 6 is my biggest all I ever really catch is sinks in ky
Man I have been watching your content forever and it still hits the same 👌🏻You should come visit South Africa again I feel the previous trip didn’t do our country justice….
as a local Mainer, these interactions are hilarious xD can definitely tell who's from here and not! when ya gonna make a trip to the midcoast of maine bud???
Ultralight ore micro fishing is around 0.98 inches and 0.035oz, yesterday a lost a pike from 35 inches on a 2.5 on a 0.088fr rod try that for ultralight fishing
Took some electric chicken snacky swimmers to a little creek today by my house and man they legit catch anything that swims! Had a blast catching one little bass and about 10 sunfish lol it was a good way to beat the heat just walking through the water lol
Great video. Definitely going to check out some of these baits! One question, what’s that rig you are using for your chest go pro? Looks better than the go pro version
Hey man idk if you travel fish a lot but if you ever are coming to cali and looking for a good place to fish Shasta lake, lake almanor or clammoth river is really fun, especially rn since it’s steelhead season! If you ever get the chance come here and try it!
The f is wrong with these old people lol. They've had more than their share of the world and nature. Time to let the younger generations enjoy what is left.
2 inches is actually not that tiny. Stop saying that 😅
Soft plastic! Soft plastic!
I was thinking definitely average
We live in a society
My b, this was actually suppose to be a macro lure challenge
@@Shortsolja90average? Bro that's HUGE
I feel like 2 inches is not shrunken or micro. 2 inches is exceptionally average
Yea you’re Asian
Grandma NPC was trying to give you a side quest (the missing gear), but you interrupted her animations.

"An NPC spawned in during our catch" got me 😂
Thieving old lady. Yapping and stealing gear, she’s not slick.
100%
That second "Have a good day!" hit differently
Hilarious! The old lady was gonna snag your gear!
Ultralight fishing is the best way to renew your confidence after a day of getting skunked and losing more lures than you want to admit to anyone
Ive been renewing my confidence for the last 5 years😅
5:02 “I got robbed by a sweet old lady on a motorized cart. I didn’t even see it coming!”

I’m a 55 year old woman and I love your videos!! I’m not like those old women, we’re not all like that!! Keep those videos coming 💜!!

Best jighead ive found in the states for the 2 inch snacky swimmer is eurotackle 1/16 #6 and the 3/32 #6 caught a 3 pounder in it and never bent out.
1/8th ounce jig on that tiny of a swimbait is diabolical
That was a fun vid! Micros catch monsters sometimes!
You can’t beat micro fishing for multi species! Awesome video man 💪

around the reefs in okinawa japan, those are normal sized lures and we'd catch some massive fish still!

Small lures are very fun in my opinion definitely should try them its so fun to catch way more different species you know know what you will catch

North east fresh water fishing is not for the faint of heart. It can break anglers, not easy to land big fish. But boynis it rewarding when you do!
Whenever i hear the camp claw intro music it just gets better every time! kinda turned nostalgic at this point!
I really like the end review of the lures, i was hoping youd say what you used while you were out fishing but a close up at the end was great.
I know im not the only one totally addicted to Jon B!! I just cant get enough if him & his vids.no one is in the same league.i ❤ him so much😘

John hunting for some Hogs in Texas with lunker
I caught a 3lb large mouth and a 3lb small mouth on the same 1/8 oz rooster tail I was pretty hyped up 😅😂 nice video!
There is something magical about a rooster tail. Lots of blade, tiny profile. I really need to fish them more often.

I thought hybrid bc of the blue specks on its face remind me of green sunfish
So glad you made this video. I’ve been ultralight fishing HARD lately
Me too man. 4.8” rod with 6 lb test and enough swimjigs to sink an inflatable raft
Definitely love watching you crush some of my local spots!
U should do challenge using bfs gears since ur throwing micro and googan should make a bfs bait cast rod ultra light be nice
