- Super Mario 64 randomizer is hilarious! All levels in Super Mario 64 are randomized, star locations are randomized, Mario bosses/ enemies are in random places, and Mario spawns in a random location every time you enter a level!
It's so funny to see Super Mario 64 bosses in the wrong places, doing experiments with them, going into one Mario painting and ending up in the wrong level, and seeing everything in funny places! We start off by going into Bob-omb Battlefield, the first level of Super Mario 64, but you end up in the middle of Bowser in the Fire Sea! Today we play through the first part of Super Mario 64 using the Super Mario 64 randomizer by Arthurtilly!

The randomization gives a great challenge for experts like you, since it gives a new experience!
I am surprised that whoever made this put some real quality of life changes that randomizers usually don’t bother implementing (like labeling chest numbers, labeling star numbers, and making the bullies sparkle)
Now the game is truly personalized
there are 65535 differnet versions in the randomizer, and it‘s also fun to speedrun the game - the keydoors are always open, lobby doors are locked behind 1-25 stars and everywhere else with a star-door is somewhere between 1-69 - the final door is locked at 70 always
- Edit for TTC: It‘s special because depending on what clock time you get in, the stars and coins may be on different spots
- Edit2: Every Star that can spawn from a condition (killing Big Bobomb, Big bully etc.) are always random, even in the same seed
- Edit3: Fighting Bowser is useless (unless you need the poles in DDD for the 100 Coin Star)

I finally have some time to watch this and I've just seen that a part 2 has been released!
I love randomizers, they let you play games you're used to in new, unexpected ways and the one for Mario 64 is no exception!
This is a pretty good one, not only it really makes the game feel fresh, but there are so many quality of life features in it, like numbers for stars, chests, etc., the sparkling enemies and so on.
By the way, this wasn't my first videogame, since I played NES and SNES ones my brother got plus some PC games, but it was the first game and console my parents bought specifically for me!

The reason Tock Tock Clock is itself is because you can’t randomize it and Wet Dry World because of how entering their paintings work

Is there some like, factor in the code of Super mario 3D world + Bowser’s fury that determines what a friendly npc is and what an enemy is? Because it would be funny to see captain toad poof into smoke due to a fireball and a goomba just get stunned from being stomped on

That red coin star placement is showing where the star spawns in the horizontal axis and not the vertical axis - meaning that the star can spawn at any height there

Tick tock clock is probably itself because otherwise the clock hands/platform speed thing wouldn't work
Tick Tock Clock is probably the same because of the actual clock adjusting the hazards in the level; there needed to be a way to change that.

Do you know why numbers appear over the stars? Did you edit them to become numbered to make the randomization easier to track?
The number that appears above the start corresponds to which star it is in the level! There are normally 7 stars in each main stage (the 7th being the 100 coins star)
