I would have appreciated a question to summarise applicable ways of applying ketone supplementation with MCT, which forms to avoid and which to take. For everyday people, and for elderly with dementia, alzheimer's.
NMN and NR trials have only shown increase in blood NAD, which is filtered by the liver, but virtually none (that I know of) muscle NAD, which I think is where it can actually be used by the body. Would love to hear from someone that knows more about this. Dr Stanfield who used to be a big NAD fan has sinc lost all interest in NMN and NR, and basically called it a useless supplement.
Would APOE4 influence the effectiveness of BHB exogenous ketones and/or MCT? I'm aware APOE4 or other genetics factors can influence the body's ability to process saturated fat.
That's an excellent question. I did a quick literature research and didn't find the answer. I'll try to find out the answer as this is very interesting and relevant point
Are there any suggestions on how a 90% fast food and sugary diet can cause gall bladder stones. I know a child 12 yrs old on this diet that had gall bladder removed and doctors never questioned diet?
Interesting that doctors never addressed it, whether or not it relates to gall bladder stones. I don't know about the link, but that diet sounds generally the recipe for so many diseases.... especially for a child with a developing brain.
Thanks for sharing. Also, you're right. MCTs won't take you too far if you're not getting enough protein. But helps to prevent muscle loss if you're, for example, sick etc. I also lose a lot of muscle if I don't eat enough protein
Just one Comment for this great Interview 🤔🤔. . Really sad...but it's for sure not easy to '' compete''🤔with Siims Channel..to work in the same area must be not so easy for you. Hope you find a good Wayfor you. Thank you very much for your work!!! Greetings from Andreas in Alsace /France

Junk
It goes to the brain via blood. You should listen the episode with Dr seranova - it’s a good one about these supplements
It is so simple to make things complicated !
100 %.. And sometimes it's vice versa.
Shouldn't Dom disclose that he and his wife own Audacious Nutrition and Keto Start since he recommended it twice?
Good point.
At least he knows what it’s made from or if it’s formulated correctly. My opinion for what it’s worth
Dom, do you find the same effects with berberine as with Metformin in terms of have that mild toxic effect you mentioned as possibly being hormetic?

MCT OIL what is this please
When I do intermittent fasting I lose too much muscle. It does work for loosing weight but athletes need to bring up their protein intake.

How is the thyroid?
Can you elaborate this question. Not sure what you mean,
Is leucine a good AMINO ACID supplement option, for maintaining lean muscle?
Unfortunately I don't know specifically about leucine. I think the full amino acid profile is the best to maintain muscle.

That’s exactly why the pharmacy-funded FDA will oppose this type of research.
yup...

Ketone esters suck, they only raise ketones for about an hr.
Linda vc hein. Deveria se chamar LInka.

Mitochondria not mitochondrion.
mitochondrion = singular of mitochondria
