This is really great, as someone who is a junior trying to break in right now I don't think anyone has helped me understand how to handle the "hand-off" stage of the presentation since the Google UX Design certification is just you and doesn't involve devs. It's been a couple of years but you gave me a good look at how I can attempt to go about it.
I'm thankful that you enjoyed it and found it helpful. The hand-off is for sure one of the really important pieces to bring up in any UX interview/presentation.
Thanks for sharing! Just a suggestion for future videos, I think it would be more helpful if you showed it to us as if you were presenting it instead of explaining every slide.
@@RichDesignLife I actually liked the way you presented it. I enjoyed hearing why you put things in a certain order (storytelling) and the small things you think needed improvement
Hi dev dupe great work btw , im taking the google ux course curently. Can you tell me if the course is enought to get a job as a junior ux designer ? ❣
Hi! That's awesome that you're taking steps to learn the craft. I didn't just take the course, I also networked, met with mentors and really really practiced interviewing. So while I took the course I was connecting with other aspiring UX designers and meeting with design mentors. Hope that helps and feel free to ask anymore questions. Thanks!
@@RichDesignLifeThank you for the reply man . Can you make a video for people who just finished the course to show us what is the next step Like how to practice interviews, find jobs, networking etc ❤️❤️ Thank you for your time
As I was uploading my relevant documents then there were 2 sections one was "biometric ID and snapshot" and another "Photo ID" I was a bit confused about what to upload correctly in Photo ID I uploaded my passport-size photo but I didn't it correct or not or should I upload something else please guide me. In what document should I upload?🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Having a graphic design background and presumably a graphic design degree would have also helped a lot.
Yep, I actually cover my background in another video on my channel. Thanks for watching!

Nice video, I barely started the course and this gave me some insight on the potential if done correctly, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Bro. I was already watching you at 2x speed. But I appreciate the heads up. Like for real.
No problem!
Aside from this being a HORRIBLE idea it was beautifully presented.
Great Video! what font do u use in that Presentation? it's simple and clean... thanks
Thanks! The font is BR Hendrix.
when a google certificate could help you land an interview lol...what a good times.
A portfolio is what is important not the certificate …

Congratulations and good luck with your UX career!
All the best ❤
All the best to you too!!
Can i send you one of my case studies for feedback. I earned my Google UX Certification in 2023 and I am having trouble getting interviews.
great video, would you recommend the google ux course to a beginner who has started out in ix design, also is it relevant in 2024?
I'm going to go back through the course in a later video, but I think it should still be relevant to beginners in 2024.

You're welcome and thanks for watching! I'll try to get a video out in a few days on the resume I used to transition into UX.
@@RichDesignLife Please do. Im also transitioning so would love to see what helps! Thanks for sharing the video!
when we create a project to our portfolio, do we need to design full pages or only important pages enough?
I would only show the important pages for a portfolio because you only have their attention for a small amount of time.
@@RichDesignLife thank you very much
