Based on this video, you can possibly make a case that 6:34 is literally the fastest time physically achievable. The slow door there towards the end could have potentially made a second’s difference. This is incredible. Literally 99.9% of it was executed absolutely flawlessly

I love watching Moose and Jikachann too! I feel bad for Jik. He's been live streaming and tryin so hard to get 35 and he gets so unlucky on his runs. Probably just so eager to get the time that a small mistake happens and ruins it. Hell Im struggling to beat my 7.42 run on the PS4. Its the stupid dogs on the bridge that ruins it for me every time OR the unlucky G Monster grab at the end. I have tried to replicate it like moose or Jik by dodging that first dog when it comes late and i still just can't avoid it consistently. I always get hit by that dog in most attempts. Its my least favorite most frustrating part when trying to speed thru.

Hey Moose! I gotta ask... @4:10 what makes the zombie Not grab you? I've seen many speedrun videos, and I see they just run right past him even when hes right at the door. I have tried many times and he just won't ignore me and activates with a grab instantly at the door . Also @6:21 no matter how fast I go that white zombie grabs me everytime. What causes them to ignore like that?
@@Peiruhn yeah. I figured out the door guy. If he positions himself s certain way and you are fast enough while not brushing right on him he delays from grabbing you. Their are other times where you need to run to the right (zombies left) and go around him or he will grab you. You get less than 1/2 a second to decide which direction. The one at the end, it happened for me only once with delay of no grabs, still have not figured out why. I've learned that certain parts during the run depending on what you did can trigger positions of zombies, etc. Like if you get grabbed in the sewer by the G monster, the zombie ahead will be walking on the stair well, but if you shoot the G and run past, the zombie ahead will be standing off to the side up top the stairs as shown in this video.

I believe it's called RNG. It's basically a luck of the draw on how the game algorithm decides to output the enemies movements. This guy plays this so fricken much, statistically, he's bound to get great RNG at some point. This is probably a good example of that. EDIT: I don't want to discredit the amount of practice and skill this takes also. He really is doing this stuff. He's just mastered the run. Absolute respect to Moosesasaurus.
I can't find one honest speedrun. One honest PS4 or Xbox One speedrun. He may or may not be telling the truth, but this is on PC and I notice glitches while he is running. Also, either he has a special in game reality warping item called "lucky rabbits foot stuck up your ass" or this is a modded/easier version of the game for children. Been playing this on PS4 and ONE and lemme tell you, the zombies, lickers, dogs and Tyrant aren't THAT clueless, lost or dumb on my version. Every zombie and other monster he runs by just seems to miss him or not be paying attention like he has domino (deadpool's friend) sitting right next to him affecting probability in his favor. Look at the run closely.
You need Keyboard and Mouse to perform some of the movements he's doing to get the 'glitches' you're talking about, which is part of the speed run strategy. You're not going to be able to perform the same functions with controller unfortunately. My brother and I ran the comparison and PC was by far faster. Eventually he reached a plateau and couldn't beat his time due to controller limitations.
No disrespect to Moose, this run is absolutely amazing and for sure took hours and hours of grinding to get it perfect. My opinion is speedruns should be catagorized. PC runs will almost always beat console runs. There should be separate top runs-one on PC, one for each individual console.
