Please please never stop posting your videos in this context. I am subscribed to over 25 channels that post court content. YOU ABSOLUTELY STAND OUT FOR SURE!!! No one I follow post content with the history of defendants going to court. I freaking love it, it’s so exciting to see it like this. I don’t usually comments but I just wanted you yo know. Your content is amazing. I haven’t watched anyone else in days. It must be hard work and expensive putting this content together . I love it, don’t stop!!

I truly find back to back so helpful. Watching this channel and others involving court and our legal system gives me an education I could not get elsewhere. I'm 67, and with all the college classes/psych and our justice system etc., it still did NOT get me "near" the reality of court and defendants. It may not be perfect for all, but it's USEFUL and better than I thought it would be.

If you have one violation of probation that is going to be plead as true you don't need any of the others to prove that probation or deferred judication has been violated. For example:
In this case he already plead no contest to a brand new charge of robbery and was found guilty judge boyd. Sentence was 13 years in prison.
Having another charge is a violation of probation of condition number 1.
Everything else becomes pointless at this point. Defence is not going to argue that probation wasn't violated because he's already been found guilty and sentenced.
If there were other violations of probation they don't matter because they won't enhance or change the already agreed upon 7 years from the original case.
So pleading true to violation 1 will just give him another 7 year sentence but he's already there for 13 so.

I truly think a lot of these folks who come before her and other judges really want to go to prison. All he had to do was follow his probation guidelines and he would be a free man and put his kids to bed every night but nah, he wants to rock those tattoos, be around the homies because he`s a real one that knows how to put family members in chokeholds.

I agree. I had a friend whose daughter started getting into trouble. My friend was at her wits end and wanted to know why her daughter kept getting into trouble and going back into juvenile detention. I had another friend who had been in and out of juvi when she was young. I asked friend #2 what advice can I give friend #1. Friend #2 said, “tell her, if her daughter likes it, she’ll go back”.

I’ve seen it on other cases too and I don’t get it either. If you get probation for a crime you commit then you should have to do the full amount. Because you get a shot you get 40 hours less? Which you still get Covid even if you get the shot. Only thing I can think is they know these defendants will more than likely end up in jail and if they’ve gotten the shot it might keep the virus controlled more in the jail population.

Oh he was really setting a good example for his children. Like he told the judge he wanted to do. NOT! Going out and robberies isn't setting a good example for your children while on probation when all you had to do was follow the rules. Instead you were out there doing wrong things again without thinking about your children and what effects it would have on them. That's what is wrong with these people today they don't think about how it effects their children when they see them having to go to prison for years. Now you are facing many years away from your children cus you wanted to be selfish and stupid. And your children will be ones paying the biggest price in all of this. Cus they are young and don't understand why their father is gone for doing something stupid and reckless. While I guess you have plenty of time to think about what a great father you turn out to be while setting behind bars. For family violence and stealing from someone. Yah, that's what makes a great father figure.

Do concurrent sentences have any effect on how long a person actually serves? Any effect on time before being eligible for parole maybe? I just fail to see the point in concurrent sentences, I am not necessarily wanting to see anyone serve more time it's just that it seems they are simply being allowed to get away with additional crimes by serving all sentences at the same time???

You can see what happens to people when they grow up in a certain kind of culture such as a gang affiliation. I don't know if he had a father in the home when he was growing up but you see what the results are from the environment he grew up in. As an example, if you take a young child about two or three years old born in America and move them to France for example. They grew up for the next 15 years in France and then came back to the United states, and tried to fit in with society here with the attitude of the French people and knowing what their laws are and not the laws of the US. I am by no means saying the France is a bad country to grow up in, I'm just using it as an example of a different culture, different food, different attitudes towards things. The only parallel I'm drawing to this particular incident is this is what he was around when he grew up and this is what he learned. If you want to see a prime example of something like this look at Obama and where he grew up and the kind of parents he had particularly his father who wasn't around. This is a thug and you can take the thug out of the city but you very rarely can take the city out of the thug. He'll end up in jail for a long time eventually.

Now he will have no one to blame but himself when one day they ask him, "why couldnt u care and stay out of trouble and let us be raised by someone else?" That is if they choose to talk to him at all when theyre older. I wonder if he even cares or thinks about it, or them. Maybe he cries himself to sleep every nite, knowing he f*cked up with his kids. He probably feels no guilt at all anyway, or he would have been home, doing what he was supposed to. So many people use their kids in court... ur honor, i have kids but i was out robbing, drugging, drinking, etc until i have to go to jail and now i care so much about them. Please give me a chance.
