Finally i took the plunged and upgraded to coilovers... this is my 1st coilovers installed my ride.. usually I use only lowering springs... so far been playing with the settings of the BC racing V1 coilovers for toyota raize.. trying to set the right combination of damping and ride height and finding the right balance for a really smooth ride... i should say that its better than stock and i kinda used to the stiffness of the rides.. because since highschool.. all of my rides are lowered.. with the exceptions of maybe 1 or 2 vehicles that I owned which I didnt mod and remained stock...
the more the coilovers are broken-in.. the better it rides.. and the bumps and rough roads of manila.. the BC racing V1 so far... can handle it...
as of now.. the damping setting is at 25 clicks to soft and ride height is around 2 finger gap from the tire to the fender... which i find it very nice...
so far i'm loving the BC racing v1 coilovers for toyota raize... hopefully it could handle the rough roads of Manila...

ride is great.. i now have the flexibility to adjust the height and damping to suit what I like.. in terms of riding comfort and lowered stance...

Hi Sir, planning din ako na mag pa coilover. Kasi idol ko kayo hahaha. Ask ko lang ang experience niyo. na sayad ba sa humps or kapag may mga elevated areas like sa mga malls ganun? And nakita ko sa reply niyo sa isang comment adjustable yung height? Pwede ba siyang kasing taas tulad ng stock? then tuwing car meet saka lang siya i-lo-lowered?
hi sir.. thank you for watching yung video hehe... salamat din na inspire kita mag coilovers... actually this is the 1st time nag coilovers ako sa car ko... normally kasi lowering spring lang talaga kinakabit ko sa mga past cars ko.. my experience sa coilovers is great.. firm ride sha talaga compared sa mga lowering springs.. pero tolerable naman... yung sa sayad.. it depends sa drop mo eh.. yung sakin kasi 2 finger gap sa front and 3 fingers sa back.. since kinabit ko yung coils.. never pa ako sumayad sa humps and sa mga elevated na mall parkings... yes.. adjustable yung height nya.. you can adjust it up and down using the adjustment tool anytime... ang maganda pa sa coils.. adjustable din yung damping nya.. meaning kung gano ka soft or hard gusto mo na ride...
@@mikoteevee yown! Thanks sir sa detailed advice. Yung sa lowering spring kasi parang minimal to no difference lang yung change. Kaya parang mas okay itong coilovers. Then at the same time pwede mo siya itaas at baba, soft or hard. Yun nga lang mas matagtag tama po ba?
@@mjokerboy3539 yung tagtag nya hindi parang putol springs na tatalbog ka sa loob ng kotse hehe.. maganda ride nya.. lalo na pag napaglaruan mo na yung settings.. depende sa gusto mo if matagtag or soft ride.. diko ma describe masyado.. pero siguro if may ka kilala ka na naka coils na naka setup ng maayos pwde mo i try sunakay sa loob.. and decide if ok coils for you.. magaganda na performance ng mga nilalabas na coils ngayon compared noon na matagtag talaga...
Hi sir, curious lang. Since same si Toyota Raize at Yaris Cross na DNGA platform, interchangeable kaya suspension upgrades nila? Nagbabalak kasi ako pakabit sa Yaris Cross ko eh. Magkano pala kuha mo ng coilovers mo? Pati yung front strut bar mo ganda din. Thank you. Sana mapansin mo comment ko
hi sir.. i would suggest get the suspension upgrades specifically for toyota yaris cross.. got my coils php43k pa before sir... i changed strut bars na sir.. from cusco SB to Tanabe SB... cusco php9,8k before, tanabe php11k..
Good point sir, well received po. Sad lang kasi gang ngayon wala pa ko nakikita coilovers for Yaris Cross. Bagay, under warranty pa naman, gamitin ko muna sayang din. Baka by the time magka available na eh paso na yung warranty.
BTW, nag pm ako sa kinunan mo ng coilover mo, di sumagot. Baka wala pa sila talaga available para sa unit ko. Thanks sa advice sir.
@@jonsalcedo24 no prob sir.. yup even the raize medjo months bago dumating yung coilovers... konting antay nalang yan.. lalabas din yang for yaris cross hehe.... enjoy nyo muna yung stock form and ipon muna while waiting.. para pag lumabas.. maka kuha na agad kayo kasi may money na kayo onhand...
Sir ask ko lng po saan shop nyo pinainstall yung coilover nyo sir. Inspire po sa yt vids nyo kya po decide mag order ng coilover kaso dko po alam sa pede painstall salamat po
salamat ng marami brother... pwde mo pa install kay JDM Select.. just call them.. nag iinstall sila ng coilovers...

Hello do you put 25 clicks for front and rear ? . I have a Titan coilvers for my Raize but it boucing and very dizzy for passengers 😢
hi bro... yes 25 clicks to Soft... try to put the settings to Soft... 5 clicks increments... until you have your desired ride and comfort..

hi sir... yup mas matagtag sha than stock... pero mas less matagtag sha kasi na aadjust yung damping nya to soft... ok naman sha kasi i have the option to adjust the height also if i want it super lowered...
