We were in England and Ireland in 2016 but couldn’t get to Scotland. Our loss indeed . We’re from Albuquerque New Mexico, Europe is so Alien to me with all the public transportation, beautiful scenery, different colors of green, wet weather, nice people, etc. We hope to get back some day. Scotland is at the top of the list. Thank you for your videos. I’m down the rabbit hole again.

Ice cream and fish and chips! A nice balanced diet, Scott! Wemyss Bay railway station is wonderful - so light and airy with an amazing roof of curving ironwork. That was a very nice little circular route route round that part of Scotland, plenty of ferry options too to explore the different islands. Thank you. Looking forward to the next one.

The raised beach...Ardrossan North Beach between Ardrossan and Seamill, looking out over the Firth of Clyde towards Arran, with what I think is the Rowan Tree, what was formerly the Little Chef with Loop Cottage further along on the beach side of the road. Excellent video and nice to see some of my local area.

Thanks ever so much for sharing. Scotland is beautiful and can hold its own with anywhere. This trip 'doon the watter' caught the essence of it all. I didn't know the Gulf Stream was the reason Palm trees grow in Largs, I do now. Cheers.

Hi Scott, just going through your very early videos, as I have watched the latest ones. I won’t comment every time but thought I should add this comment here. Thank you for your really interesting content.

The Ayrshire coast is undervalued especially by its occupants the scenery is sublime
    The vistas are wonderful
The bus journey from Kilbirnie to Largs is too short a microcosm of Scotland beyond beautiful though im biased as i was raised in Kilbirnie and Glengarnock and know largs well
I now live in Largs and the scenery is wonderful
If you ever catch the bus from Kilbirnie to Largs just before you reach the Haylie brar especially on a glorious summer day the sight that you will behold will remain with you always the islands cumbrae large and small Aran Bute Kintyre and the hills away to the holy loch and beyond! And a tribute to Victoriana Wemyss bay train station 🚉 quite remarkable 👌 Ayrshire is beautiful especially the coast but it has inland areas worth seeing especially again the hills that surround Kilbirnie to see the Garnock valley in all its beauty seen from The Kilbirnie hills
    I know im biased but this place has my heart and soul 💓 ♥ 💖 💛 ❤ 💗 💓

Hi Andrew, thanks for the comment. My son lives in Saltcoats, and I'm always reminding him how lucky he is to live so close to the shore and in a very scenic part of Scotland.

This victorian train station is easily one of the best in scotland and a must see when in the area it even has a station bar if you enjoy this thing.

So graceful those arches of that station! Why they don't build this way anymore? It's too perfect.

It really is a stunning building. It's amazing to think this was built over a century ago, and if architects had to replicate this, I think they would struggle.

I've got Viking DNA as well, based on my surname Manson = Magnusson = entered Scotland via Caithness via Olaf the Great (superb name as well) :-)

What a brilliant trip out of, and back to Glasgow. Along with my wife, my sister, and brother-in-law, we made a pilgrimage to Scotland,
to visit my dad's birthplace which is Dundee. We only had two weeks to spend in Scotland. One can only stretch an Aussie dollar so far.
(or any dollar for that matter) Well most of this, after beautiful Dundee of course, was driving through the highlands, and getting lost
often which was fun. Our time in Glasgow was way too short. You've whet my appetite for a Glasgow holiday Scott.

Scott, have you done the Glasgow Central tour under the station.Did it before covid cme along.Well worth it if its still on,the story of WW1 widows looking for loved ones was harrowing.

There used to be two bars that overlooked the concourse but it's taken them ages to reopen. The bar that's left overcharges and has rubbish seating.

That bus at Wemyss Bay was a 906 which doesn’t operate via Gourock. Would’ve been a 901

Wemyss Bay station is striking, but Pitlochry Station on a nice summers day is prettier.
