- Well, this was a tricky one. It took me several weeks to make this cover since I couldn't find proper sounds to make it. But here it is finally!
I used A LOT of Arturia's Synclavier V (the synth that Depeche Mode used in CTA) to make almost all the sounds. And of course, I used many samples too.
I play a lot of sounds here, so you can hear mistakes here and there. Hope you like it anyway.

this is probably the best cover I've heard of this song! Faithful to the original but that bass and drum kick just takes it to the next level.

EXCELENTES Covers! por eso en mi adultez soy fana de Depeche, las canciones son tan simples que parecerìa que cualquier niño podrìa tocarlas, pero a la vez son sencillas y con mucha orquestaciòn como le gustaba componer armonicamente a Alan Wilder, pasan los años y vuelvo a las mismas canciones ¡Que don tienen estos muchachos (grandes)!

very impressed...I really belive bands like DM and the whole 12 inch thing that was going on in 70s and 80s helped me be who I am today in music...you could hear all the sounds as they were and then slowly add them together...you did well..if you ever need a bass player.......

It's really amazing to me, that the more I watch your videos, and compare them too: Dx5's videos, you are using a single, sampler keyboard, programmed to play like 3, or 4 synths in one, by splitting the keys! That's amazing! Dx5 is awesome too, but he uses multiple older synthesizers, and an old-school reel to reel, set-up.
What DX5 does is just amazing. I admire that guy and I wish I had those vintage synths, they are amazing. But he relies more on programming than samples and he sounds great anyways! Glad you like my covers :)

Hello buddy! I extracted some samples from the original song, but just a few. Like the metal sound in the chorus, and in percussive sound towards the end of the song. I've made the other sounds with Synclavier II vst.

Nice sounds! Where you get the sounds?
From different sources: Alan Wilder's soundbanks, 5.1 version of the song and a lot of Synclavier VST.
Pretty good! Are you using an effects processor for those sounds or keyboard? If not, you may want to get one & add some heavy chorus/reverb to make the sounds a little more 'thick' sounding

I like a basic effects processor, in fact I have two: a Zoom G2 guitar (which works well for keyboards) and also a Alesis PicoVerb. The Alesis has about 15 basic settings, which work well with the AW Sample disk sounds. (I have the sample zipdisk) and play them thru my Emax II, with the Alesis PicoVerb. It sounds pretty close to both Concert quality and Recording room quality, like the album.
You may want to look seriously at the Zoom Multi Effects; it is what Alan Wilder used for many years:

I know Voices 2 from the Synclavier Diskette #3 , but you should share the other sounds, or list the Synclavier V presets used so we can play also.
