Collingwood supporter here, what can I say... Well, well done tigers, they played well from start to finish.
Thank you
go pies
I’m a Melbourne supporter, but Richmond are my team to win the flag. They clearly deserve it after a miraculous turnaround, and how brave they’ve been with all of their injuries.
All the teams in the 8 deserve to win the Premiership, they've all qualified for finals and now we will wait and see how they go. Go Pies!!!
Hey garryyy ur back always will leave a like on ur comments 😂👍
Go tiges
SilentHotdog28 just don’t choke this time 😂
Go the pies
Great atmosphere at the game today and good crowd. Bring on the next match in QLD
The strength it took for Dusty to shrug off two blokes, two AFL players who are probably between 80 and 90kgs is insane.. He definitely is the league's best right now.. Maybe not Brownlow worthy this year but he's unbelievable..
To the Neanderthals whining about Richmond _always_ playing at the MCG.
* Collingwood played more games at the MCG this season
* Melbourne played *one* less game at the MCG this season because they sold their home games
* Richmond played 6 games at the G until Round 17 this season
Snowman and we only lost two away games when we travelled
Hoping any team that isn't a Victorian club wins a premiership. Shows they win it the harder way compared to the Victorian clubs as they always have the advantage throughout the season. As well as grand final hosts in the MCG. But mainly all other sports hosts it an their home ground.
Weebboyonline agreed on the Grand Final point but Vic teams’ home ground advantage is not nearly as pronounced as interstate teams considering the amount of Vic teams that share their home ground. Look at West Coast. They share their home ground with one team. Compare that to any MCG tenant
17 games in Melbourne.
Travel once after the bye (gold coast)
last 7 home and away at Mcg.
Pretty good deal considering you won the flag 2 years ago and played prelims last year.
its only since Richmond got lethal that the whiners started doing their bitching routine over Richmond gams at the MCG..... a few years back when Richmond were behind the pack these same people were shitting their beds over other complaints
I was watching the game on TV what a game!
High Ex what do u mean stop it?
5.05 was a brilliant goal should in contention for goal of the year, go TIGES 💛🖤💛🖤
Go Tigers Lets win the flag this year
Good job tiges 9 in a row but got them at the gabba next
Wonder if Richmond know how to get to the airport?
BrUh go tiges 💛🖤💛🖤💛
Ground holds no fears for Tigers. Lions haven't beaten us there since 2004.
Were still gonna win.
We fear no ground
Charlie Wilson Marvel
I just love how dusty gets it out of the middle on the lead to jack lol
💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛 GO TIGES!!!
Enthralling, mouthwatering finals series to come for all top 8 teams, absolutely pumped and excited for it, Go Pies!
Brisbane is going to have something to prove next week its going to be interesting
Pineapple_123 *week after. It’s going to be an interesting game and I am shitting myself as a Richmond supporter cause Brisbane’s going to come out firing.
Brisbane didn't play badly against the tigers either, any other team would have lost to brisbane
Up the tigers 🐯

*162 Dream Team*
Brodie Allen 1 loss.
Brodie Allen It's funny I was at the game and he didn't seem to have much of an influence
Zorko was far more damaging though.
The Den Sidran Agree Zorko look to have more influence watching live
Jason Evans all true I looked at his stats and I’m like what???? It felt like Zorko had 44 touches and I look at it and was just like speechless
Great Finals series incoming
Go tigers
And they play each other at the finals
Tigers looking good for the finals!
Richmond are in the exact same form as they were in 2017.. We weren't expected to beat Geelong in the first final but we did.. Same this year, we'll beat the Lions at the Gabba.. Lions are so impressive and are going to be a good side for a long time but their big match and finals inexperience I think will hurt them this year..
Go tigers
@Alice R it's all about adapting to the conditions, the opposition and the venue.. Once interstate sides know how to win at the MCG they can be unstoppable.. West Coast play the G well don't be shocked if they are up there, just a hiccup losing to Hawthorn..
Lions are pretenders, if they get a few injuries next year they won’t make the finals. Lucky 2019 and they failed to capitalise.
C'mon tiges🖤💛🖤💛 I have a good feeling we can take them down up at The Gabba
It might be a struggle, Brisbane might have been holding off against Tigers at the G, They probably wanted to lose so that they face tigers again and retain their knowledge and intel for the big fight, rather than going all out for the win and facing Eagles for no benefit. I'm just speculating. Either way you look at it, it will be harder for you to beat Lions at the Gabba, But well done to Richmond for top 4.
@@SilentHotdog28 Losing is a dumb strategy. No one wants to lose. Especially because winning would have meant their first minor premiership ever and a home final against the Eagles, who are looking pretty shaky right now.
GO TIGERS! 🐅🐯💛
@@BlackGateofMordor No one wants to lose and yes they could have got the minor premiership, but what I'm saying is that they didn't have to go all out against Richmond......Minor Premiership all though nice is not the be all end all. I'm saying that there is strategy in playing Richmond again because they can take advantage of match ups and game experience while it's fresh in the memory, rather than play WCE who they played in round 1.
@@SilentHotdog28 Yeah I'll bet another made up story from someones imagination is right too.
I think every team in the top 4 could go out in straight sets easily. If Brisbane or Richmond lose they play the Bulldogs (Most Likely) and if Collingwood or Geelong lose they play the Eagles (Most Likely) Really speaks to how even the comp is
Grand Final preview
I have been Brisbane before. But Tigers exciting
GO RICHMOND WOOOOOOOOOOO😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
*richmond premiers 2019*
Jaden Lawrence hopefully not
Don’t get cocky,
@@lv3915 Scuse me
XRaptor 56 how bout that grand final eh
xfusion240 the cup was richmonds at half time lol
waiting for tigers older players to retire then lets see how good they are, happy how our boys went we are second after so many years bottom of the ladder
Paul Walsh they have plenty young ones coming up there VFL players are very good also but so are the lions
So good luck to both
Weird comment. Wait until literally any team’s good older players retire and they get a bit worse. Bit existential of you.
We only have 2 30 or over, Jack being 30 and Houli 31.
But the thing is Brisbane play Richmond at the Gabba in the finals
@@esportsfrostieez If I were Brisbane going into this game, I would disguise a purposeful loss. I would rather test some things out like matchups and plays and play Richmond again at the gabba than try for the win and play Eagles for no benefit.
That's not "the thing". When did RFC last lose at the Gabba?
@@LorriSanga 2004.....But when did Brisbane last play finals, they haven't been that good last 15 years (except this year) so Let's see how they go.
@@SilentHotdog28 Definitely Will be a spectical. Good luck!.
@@LorriSanga I'm a Pies supporter lol. But thanks we will need luck against Geelong.
Yeah Richmond.... thank you for giving us first place from Geelong
We beat you in the Preliminary Final anyway.🤣😂🤣😂
Geez Richmond look unbeatable at the MCG
David Goat it’s because they have played there 7 times in a row
Eagles almost beat them
Great game but rematch soon
Lions need to dominate the midfield at the Gabba in order to win.
Jack kicked 4 in a row
tigers looking good
Go Richmond and go Dusty in AFI 😁🏈🚶🏽♂️
I was there
guys does anyone know when the brownlow starts? both wa and est time would be nice...
man man
Same week as the GF, a few days before it, not sure which day though.
Sir Spencer ah, i thought it was some time this week. thanks!
man man
Nah, in about 3 weeks mate. No prob 👍🏻
Richmond can win at the mcg again brisbane lions go richmond tiger trent cotchin and dustin martin jack riewoldt Damien hardwick's tom lynch dylan grimes Alex rance Daniel rioli syend stack Matthew Richardson good job richmond tiger you won the grandfinal of 2019 I am happy that richmond tiger won another grand final go richmond tiger
I notice most time when a big kick/pass to the attention player it the play stops, otherwise i have seen the same situation yet the player might punch the ball for a pass to keep play going. how do they decide when to stop the play? i am dumb just watched this clip and never heard of this sport and that is what got mostly confused about. other wise cool sport way better than soccer.
good try brisbane ☹️ hope we can beat the tigers at the gabba
wholesome
How can I watch the finals and the grand final here in the US?
Hey there, you can catch the finals series on WatchAFL.com.au
@@AFL SWEET!!! Thanks! I just discovered AFL and I got to say it is easily the most entertaining sport I have seen.
Wtf afl replied to a comment
@@qyzah8362 I was pretty excited when I saw their reply lol
#EatEmAlive
The lions know the tigers plan so in the finals at home they will smash I think up the 🦁 lions
Really hope lions give a good showing and prove to the country we deserved top2 and finals
GO TIGESSS ❤️🤩
Brisbane are a totally different team this year. Last year, they weren't even in top 8 and we beat them by like, 94 points
OnlyLuvCatsSoz Is My Name & AJPW Is My Game duh I think we all know that by now 😂
OnlyLuvCatsSoz Is My Name & AJPW Is My Game we got the spoon in 2017 😬
I’m still don’t getting the rules🤷♂️
Everyone hated the umpires and was extremely rude to lions
I think Richmond will win the GF, but I’m going for the underdog - Doggies.
Pies will
Doggies are a dark horse. They coming good at the right time. From a richmond supporter
Brad Bater
Yeah have to agree , they have had some big wins too. GWS Vs Dogs is going to be a ripper.
@@oldmate6005 Nope
Lions will cook Richmond at the Gabba
Nah
Probably
Snowman yeah
DIG IT You have not beaten them in 10 years
Jason Evans Neutral supporter here
As a Bombers supporter, I’ll be going for the Lions once Essendon is out.
Well your trashcan football club will be out in the first week so good luck barracking for a team you don't even follow jerk off

Can any AFL experts explain to me why this contest gets Riewoldt a free kick????
John Hartweger because he grabbed his body
It was soft, but he pulled JR away from the contest without the ball. There's howlers like that every game going either way.
It's a contact sport...
In a one on one matchup the defender must spoil the ball, contact such as pulling or pushing the attacker is considered an illegal action liable for a free kick. Soft yes but because it was a 1v1 it’s easy for the umpires to find infringements
Afl loved by 4 states while soccer as we know is loved by billions
Enjoy your nil all games broseph
Billions of virgins.
Imagine liking soccer
is it really necessary to come and denigrate AFL on this board? Go and enjoy your game somewhere else.
yeah it's also the weakest sport on the planet. AFLW is tougher haha
Misfits podcast
Dustin Martin walks on water....EAT EM ALIVE
Most overrated player in the game he's a thug.
It’s so unfair that Richmond’s last 7 games are at the MCG, Geelong have had to travel interstate 3 times in their last 5 games.
Thank god they’ll be getting an interstate Qualifying Final.
The reason we got so many games at the MCG is because in the first half of the season we played most of our games away. Collingwood have had more games at the G this season but no one is blinking an eye. If you're going to make a claim, at least back it up.
Don’t bother with the excuses, Geelong just slacked off for a portion of the season
SebIsFIFA we played all our away games pre-bye (Adelaide, GWS, Gold Coast, Fremantle and Port Adelaide) and plus most of the teams we played in the last seven were teams that were also MCG tenants (Collingwood, Melbourne and Carlton) and teams that we already played at their home ground (Port Adelaide and GWS). So stop your whinging and get on with it.
Dylan Garrix Collingwood had to travel against West Coast, GWS, and Brisbane. Three interstate teams that Richmond got to play at the G (they did play GWS away earlier in the season though).
SebIsFIFA The good thing is Richmond suck interstate.
8th
Lions to win at the Gabba
Nope
Yet another win even though the umpires once again tried to give it to the other side.
I love Brisbane and hope they win it, but they need to improve a bit at the G.
Jess Grover
They certainly do if they wanna win
Jess Grover some positivity from Jess Grover it must be a blue moon
Plugga
I can’t believe it either but he is changing
Adam McGuigan it’s about time
Jess Grover hope they don’t win !!!! Bandwagon club
Boo tigers
Cheers richmond for slaughtering these cocky lions, you won us the minor premiership!
DKG m8 how are they cocky, last year we were 15th
ltchyba11 I’m so excited to see Richmond playing away from the MCG. And I would blame Brisbane supporters. From a team that was once on the bottom of the ladder now at the top, you’d probably be a little cocky about that. Especially when they are beating good teams.
@@787ndorkycat3 I will say it again. Queerslanders are always cocky about everything.
Says a geelong supporter 😂😂 haven't met a single one who isn't cocky
Keith Urban beacause they think improving will get them the win lol
Umps seemed to get sucked in by the Richmond crowd a bit.
Completely disagree. I reckon the umpiring today was the best it's been all season. There were SOME horrendous calls but no where near the level it usually is
OG TRIPLE TRIPLE the free kick count:
Brisbane - 22
Richmond - 18.
It was 6-13 at half time
The free kicks were good on this game, as a lions supporter I didn't find many faults to be fair, and I did expect alot more for tigers
First
Ha won by 8 seconds
@@charliecampbell-cowan9136 do you want a medal?
Dylan Garrix lol and do you want me to crack your head
Free kick Richmond
Yep. Richmond lost yet another free kick count.
ltchyba11 mate did you watch the game
@@plugga1747 Yes I was at the ground and then went home and watched it on tv
Plugga ? plugga the umps love Collingwood
Football Winner who said anything about Collingwood
Lions are so terrible, out in straight sets both their losses will be by 100+ points babeh
Eagles Fan2222 Ok then why did west coast lose to hawthorn by 38 points last night in Perth and your not in the top 4 stop being so salty
Eagles Fan2222 how?
Eagles Fan2222 you lost to the hawks on Saturday night and you got thumped by Lions earlier in the year and also your not in top four and your gonna loose to Essendon so correction EAGLES are so terrible
Haydos Frohlich I still think they will beat Essendon though
Tommy Iermano haha yeah probably but I hope not
