Jackson is silently taking care of Tzuyu😌
To me, it seems as he was definitely affected by the whole Taiwan China thing, as Hong Kong has a similar political standing. Do you remember the protests in Hong Kong? They were somewhat about China politics inside special administrative districts. You can see this in Jackson's interactions and speech, how he doesn't ever say Taiwan (and neither does Tzuyu) and only brief mentions of Hong Kong, but they really hammer in the words China a bunch, as well as using the Mandarin language more (even though his native tongue is Cantonese).
+Ethan Chou ikr. when cho youngnam and kyungkyu said Jackson is a Chinese person, but he didn't mentioned anything about hong kong and let it be. I don't know why but I feel hurt (I'm not a hongkonger tho).
+Ethan Chou Not only that but that's mostly what Hong Kongers do (because I am one) especially when we eat, we occasionally give them a bit of the side dishes to their bowl, showing respect.

He's being very careful, not affiliating himself with anything political. Probably the uppers at JYP have advised him to do so as well.

Jackson was being like a protective brother, awww, he took care of Tzuyu, like he tried to make her talk more, he helped her when she didn't know what to do/say, he ordered lemon tea, he put the food in her plate,... Aww i wish i have a bigger brother, especially one like Jackson (cause Jackson is basically perfect to be everyone: dad, brother, boyfriend, or just a really close friend), and I could somehow feel how he would treat me if i could be his sister since me and Tzuyu are the same age lol

That is a misunderstanding.
If you knew what kind of people they were, you would have understood their behavior.
The very old guy Jo Young Nam is a very modern and immature guy for his age.
He is a great artist, but he has been judged for his immature behavior many times.
He is not a bad guy though.
He lived in America when he was young, and he doesn't know much about Korean traditional things.
That is why the younger man Lee Kyung Kyu did most of the guide.
Lee Kyung Kyu was so happy to be with Jackson and Tzuyu.
At the end of the show, he said the joy Jackson and Tzuyu gave him was so high that it was over the Great Wall.
He was worried that Jackson and Tzuyu would have been bored so he tried to make it fun.
And he was a bit shy to reveal his feeling.

Based on the comments stated here, I think the creators of the show should have changed the title of the show, just for this episode, to A Look at Got7's Jackson... haha. But I'll admit, I'm happy that both Jackson and Park Joon Hyung agreed to be on the show together. I enjoyed watching their friendship on the show, Roommate.

Being a mid 20s female, I really learnt a lot from the older generation. What stopped me the most is the phrase " we have time but we have nothing to do" by the 80s representative. Wow! We now have a lot to do but we dont have enough time, and later we might be like them, with a lot of time but nothing to do. That made me feel that I have to take care of my body in order to live long and to move slow in my life. No one wants to reach 80s of 90s and have nothing to do.

Im from hong kong myself and honestly most of my friends back home all consider themselves Chinese and are proud of being Chinese. Of course there are also people with different beliefs and values in hk, but Jackson def does not feel forced into saying that he's Chinese. In fact, not only on this program but also everywhere else (instagram, radio shows, chinese and korean reality shows, predebut stuff, etc etc - for example, he posted on instagram long ago, long before tzuyu's thing happened, saying "Proud to be a Chinese") he has always proudly presented himself as a Chinese no matter what (both before and after tzuyu's taiwan thing he never changed) - which is really precious especially in Korea bc honestly he could just say he's from hong kong and nobody in China would blame him for it. He has only just been being himself. Hong kong and taiwan are no doubt different so I'm not going to comment on tzuyu's political attitude, but it really can't be clearer that jackson rly loves his country so I dont think anyone should feel hurt from him being called Chinese when Jackson himself obviously agrees with it.
