You should consider writing a book. You have so much wisdom. Sometimes I scream at the tv because the truth is too painful to listen to but I keep coming back to this pain.
Luis, we are living in an age where SACRIFICE is almost seems to be an offence - Sacrifice of time, Sacrifice of effort, Sacrifice to love and the list goes on. No wonder relationships slump into the ether - no one really wants to make such sacrifice. How much we need to hear the Gospel and see and learn the ultimate Sacrifice of John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only Son. I believe true learning to live and learning to love cannot really exist outside of knowing the Lord and Saviour.
Bingo. Its interesting and challenging at times to navigate a relationship with a 'friend' who doesnt seem to do his share of responding and investing into a relationship. Seeing how the course flows with a particular one, - each relation has its own context of conditions and influences. I think communication is key as well, to see if any relation can prosper and be mutually enjoyable for each person. Good tips and insights.
