Yeah that's what I used to do - in fact I tried not to fight the battles in the first 10 minutes or so - i used to dragon teeth off the entire base area, focus on air defense and then when ready attack and capture the base to the far east, cordon that off and then start krogoth production on mass, it was quite a low unit loss tactic but it would be a 2/3 hour game. Staggering to see this done in half an hour - insane! TA... what a game it was, makes me want to reinstall!
My friend, thx for your channel, this is a list of games you could do gameplays: Terranova (1996) Uprising 2: Lead and Destroy (1998) Independence War 2 (2001) Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising (2001)
CORE are robots, ARM are supposed to be clones but the lack of any human communication from any ARM units probably indicates they're not actually humans either.
Supposedly, Arm's units are controlled by fleshy human minds, while Core's units are controlled by digitized human minds. Not like in Zero-K's campaign, where the units are controlled by non-sentient A.I. commanders (except for the player, who is a human waking from cryosleep), which were created long after a calamity seemingly wiped out human sentience (fleshy, digitized, or otherwise) from the galaxy.
Personally hate this level. I like building a small but well defended base away from any agro first before engaging on an even footing, but the AI has different ideas on this level.
What I liked to do was capture core plant and make my own Krogoths.
Yeah that would be fun to use against enemy base.

Thanks. I'll see what I can do.
So are these actual humans fighting or just AI robots fighting each other long after their creators disappeared?
