Hi, PLEASE consider reacting to 'WAYO' by BANG YE DAM of TREASURE (a rookie group under YG entertainment). Bang yedam is the 1st member of Treasure who has already released a solo digital single way back 2019 before they debuted! I hope y'all can react to it. The song is a pop ballad, i know you'll like it 🤧❤️❤️❤️
I see a lot of comments saying they don’t like this song (which is a completely valid opinion) so I feel like need to give some representation to us who actually love this song and think it’s their best title-track:) I like that they are experimenting with their sound once again, this time challenging themselves with rap verses and one of their most exhausting choreos yet (according to the boys). I personally think this hiphop-rock sound suits them a lot, and I think especially the chorus is good and catchy, and the choreo matches it well. I also love the concept of the video, although I can understand the confusion with the song and video together. My only complaint is that the song is too short and doesn’t have a bridge. I also want to point out that Blessed-cursed is only a title from a repackaged album, not a full album. Their b-side “Polaroid love” from this repackaged album is gaining popularity these days too! Thank you for checking out Enhypen:)
the m/v is the main issue here. it's way too abstract and it creates a barrier between the actual song and the visual representation. only the fans who are deeply invested in EN- and understand the clues and the lore can appreciate it, & these guys are obviously not fans, whatsoever.
5:20 the mv concept is y2k and the explosion is not random since "Y2K was commonly used to refer to a widespread computer programming shortcut that was expected to cause extensive havoc as the year changed from 1999 to 2000. The change was expected to bring down computer systems infrastructures, such as those for banking and power plants." so yep BOOM
I can definitely agree when I first heard the song it took me back a bit and I didn't get hooked on the melodies but after sometime I've come to really like the song! I will say their song Drunk-dazed is very well done and I think you guys would enjoy that one a lot more than this one! :]
ENHYPEN is amazing. It’s such a complete group. And y’all have to do all their singles (Drunk-Dazed, Tamed-Dashed, FEVER), they’re STELLAR and all follow a set storyline since Given-Taken. This song Blessed-Cursed is out of that storyline because this is a random re-package single. It’s basically a performance video with 90s/2000s visual homage.
this song is a hit or miss for many ppl, i personally love this song and have it on repeat, maybe bc i favor music with a hiphop trap-beat, and i think the rock elements incorporated to the song was a nice touch. also the live stages to this song is really something else, the choreo is amazing. i like that enhypen continue to show different sides to them in every comeback. pls react to ENHYPEN's mvs "Fever", "Drunk-dazed" and "Tamed-dashed"
To be honest, this is my favorite title track of theirs (maybe 2nd behind drunk-dazed which you guys should REALLY check out for storyline) but I never made the connection that someone who was born before me (2002) would probably view all this stuff differently. My mom and brothers played old school music all the time but I didn't really EXPERIENCE it the same way they did. So I thought to myself..I wonder how they'd view it. Very interesting
im a '98 liner i didnt grow up on the artist you mentioned at the end but i wasnt completely new to this aesthetic and concept. I wasnt a huge fan of the song at first but it grew on me. I like it a lot now. It actually shocked me how much I was singing along while watching this lol. I also like the choreo a lot. I think the song and video are both better separately. I didnt think the song matched the visuals but I couldnt really place what era the song makes me think of. I think Dizz hit the nail on the head though. Thanks for the reaction yall
Heard my friend play this song and it didn't stick with me, however, when I played it in full and actually listened, I started loving it, have it on repeat till now. It's just so cool and catchy, the "I wanna be on my way, I bet" part especially. People might not like the song because of the simplicity but I think that's the charm of it. Most k-pop songs are complex and minimalism just brings the breath of fresh air that I need sometimes.
I'm kinda doubtful if I liked this song at first. But upon listening to it many times, I'm now obsessed with this song. The lyrics of this song is also very good. Enhypen really nailed it with their latest comeback.
I feel like a lot of peoples had the same opinion as you guys. Many fans didn’t really vibes with this comeback and some even considered this to be their worst title track. I don’t love it or hate I listen to it daily though, but I do love the music video aesthetic better than the music production. At the end of the day it comes down to preferences and opinions, so it’s really not that deep if you don’t vibe with a song because there will be many other songs that you do vibe with form that artist. Sometimes when producer makes songs it can only attract certain groups and that’s ok 👌 My fav Enhypen title track is Tamed-Dashed one of their in between songs of Given-Taken and Blessed-Cursed. There’s also Drunk-Dazed which comes before Tamed-Dashed which I really enjoy as well.
Isn't it wild how we all live in our own info bubbles, that form our perception of stuff?! The shear range and volatility between different peoples perceived notion of how much of a success (or flop 🤷♀️) this was, is somehow mind blowing, but also fairly predictable...im so confused and doubtful about everything I can't personally verify... It pretty unsettling, but also kinda exiting.... 🤯🙄😵🤔🥺🦚🥭.... Wait... what?
This song is either a hit or miss for people from what I noticed. At first listen it was okay for me, but it grew on me and it grew fast. I love this song. I was around the Y2K time and it reminded me of the music videos back then. But, I just took this video for what it is and didn't compare it to anything. For the storyline, there's theory videos out there and explanations of the video. To me, since they're vampires, it shows they lived through that era and probably like thousands of years old now. :) I really do hope you check out their other music videos...maybe check out their dance practices?... They are very good dancers and performers.
Thank you for reacting to ENHYPEN!!! I feel like this song really split the fandom in half, one half thinking it's their best title track while the other half thinking it's their worst, so it's really the matter of personal preferences:) I personally think it's their best title-track, song-wise and choreo-wise. But their other title tracks are good as well. I would love to see you reaction to "Drunk-Dazed" and "Tamed-Dashed" (which has complete opposite vibes to each other). And also their b-side "Fever" which has an MV as well - this is their most popular b-side I believe, along with "Polaroid Love" which is trending recently (but this song does not have an MV sadly)
basically they use 2000 visual because of the storyline but at same time the sound of the song is futuristic that's suit with 2022 as you can see their debut song "given-taken" was about how they become vampiers in the past so every music video they drop has diffrent era on how they live long time so that's why last music video is the 2000 era. Also the last scene which is “Dark Moon” it’s a WEBTOON called ‘Dark Moon: The Blood Altar’ featuring ENHYPEN members is the fantasy tale that will lead us from an ancient mystical era to a modern-day private high school. The webtoon is set in a fictional place called Riverfield, where the most popular boys at two rival schools happen to be supernatural creatures, vampires and werewolves! However, strangely the seven vampires’ memories have been sealed away, Then a girl transfers to school as a new student, but she has a secret as seven young men feel a strange attraction to her. So that’s why all their music videos from the debut music video to latest music video related to that webtoon .
Yeah this video being the latest, the previous title tracks establish a mythos and character that when understood in context makes this video/song relevant in that line. Don’t want to give all of it away (tee-hee) but they’re ageless beings- vampires. Their other videos show them throughout time, hence they were present in the Y2K moment lol
im just a new fan and when i started to listen to every song they had i got hooked immediately with this song (and their other songs too there's just something about them that really suit my taste ) because it has some flows that really captivates you. and when i saw the chero i knew it immediately this one is their most addicitve moves to watch with balance and impact
I love your honest point of view about the song since that is also what I feel when I first watched it . The music video really take that listening experience in a higher level that listening through the songs alone. It's very interesting to hear the perspective of professional artist just like @RIverse. My interpretation of the song and the video together is like they are trying to bridge or connect generations together. I can see the contrast of the song and the video . But I wonder if that is intentional.Their Title tracks are always two words that have opposite meaning that was CONNECTED BY A " - " (EN)" HYPEN" / DASH. Best examples are "Given-taken " and Blessed-Cursed. They are trying to connect the two sides that was different. I'm always looking forward to your reactions because you guys are HONEST and entertaining. I learn a lot from your reactions as well. Love your Group..more power to you guys. I'm really curious on what would be your reaction to TWICE " CRY FOR ME " and " PERFECT WORLD" . Since they are currently in a US tour right now. I think it's a perfect time to introduce you to a different side of Twice. Thanks xoxo !
That's a really good theory - bridging two worlds or two generations together! We still haven't seen or understood their entire creative concept, but from the two videos we saw, that totally makes sense!! Thanks for sharing!!! And we can't make any promises, but we'll keep your TWICE recommemdations in mind! We are so glad you enjoy our videos. Thank you for Rockin' Wit Us! 💜💚
They actually have a sizeable fan base that are older. They were created from a show called I-Land during the lockdown part of the pandemic. I can tell you we were hooked, big brother mixed with Produce 101.
Actually given taken too blessed cursed their mv is all connected in dark moon given taken, let me in, drunk dazed, fever, tamed dashed, blessed cursed. All of their mv is connected to dark mood
I really love this song. It has to grow into you. The video is so visually stunning that shadows the song at first. The ups and downs in the vocals and the lyrics makes this song so unique. It is jus amazing for me
I was born in 2002 so ofc I didn't grow up in the 90s and I didn't have the feeling that you got and I found it really interesting. looooved the reaction ♥️♥️ live from spaain
This is because you did not watch the story line in sequence until they reached the year 2000 They are vampires and never grow oldAnd the song is from the year 2000 in modern form
If you’re curious, Enhypen’s MVs connect into or hint towards an overarching storyline. And “Dark Moon: The Blood Altar” explores more on that storyline showcased in those MVs (you check out all of them). Definitely check it out if reading is your thing! 좋은 일을 계속하십시오 ♥️
Now I really want y’all to check out drunk-dazed. It gained the most popularity and for good reasons. It is more similar to given-taken rather than blessed-cursed
PLEASE consider reacting to 'WAYO' by BANG YE DAM of TREASURE. He is the 1st member of Treasure who has already released a solo digital single way back 2019 before they debuted! I hope y'all can react to it. The song is a pop ballad, i know you'll like it 🤧❤️❤️❤️
thank you so much for reacting to enhypen ! i would say drunk-dazed is one of their strongest song, when u listen to it the first time, u guys should react if u can! 😌❤
Tbh tamed-dashed is the title track I like the least…it is more youthful but idk I don’t think it fits in with their other title tracks and I just wasn’t a fan of the chorus
I had same questions going in my head when I first saw the video. So just like you did, I was recording a reaction video, and I was watching the video excitedly for the first time, but in addition to the whole dilemma you had, I was also biased by the group itself, since I am very familiar with members, so I had a confusion split between the sound,, the lyrics, the video, and members. And when I watched it for the first time I was totally blown away with the visuals, and just like Monroe, I was taken back in time with a good feeling, not necessarily to any specific group or song, but just to the times of 90es-00nds, and I like the sound of the song better than their previous comeback. But then I went back to read through the lyrics since now I was intrigued by the meaning of the song with such strong visuals, asking myself a question - what can they potentially sing about having this storyline, or more like a lack of it? And then I became confused because the meaning of the song didn't quite align with the idea I had for this visual, especially since it was in my opinion just a stylistic choice. I couldn't stop asking myself a question - why did they do this specific visual for this specific song? What made them do that? ikd. Don't get me wrong, I like both the music video AND the song, but just when they are not together. But if you are planning to watch more of their stuff, I really recommend watching both Drunk-dazed and Fever (b-side with an MV, really good song). Both songs came out with their first comeback right after Given-Taken. I think it was their best comeback so far, but obvsl kids have a big room to grow, kinda crazy to think how far they've come only in a year. I was following them since I-Land, was crying with them through missions and finals, and I know that they are really talented, and bighit production team is passionate about their archestry.
ENHYPEN is really really talented. This comeback is just either a hit or miss for different people. If you who like old-hiphop vibe with cool choreography, you would definitely like this. But if not, it's a hit or miss. It did grow on me though. Nonetheless, they're such a talented group especially in dancing. In just a year of their career, they've made so many achievements already globally and I really hope people would recognize them more because they are not just a mere group of a huge company but they're more than that. They can truly show what a real talent is despite all the hate they're getting from different fandoms. Thank you for this reaction!
I’m a 89’ and it was very nostalgic seeing the video. But to be honest I really liked the song. Its crazy cuz they are an all male group but I felt empowered. That said I’m a very eclectic person.
Blessed- cursed is actually a song that grows on you. I didnt like it at first but after watching it a few more times, i got hooked! I prefer watching the dance practice and live stage performances tho. This song has amazing lyrics and a tight choreo and it's a good track. But for your next reaction, please please please react to Fever!!! 🔥🔥🔥
they known as a great performance and concept. For some people who just know them, i recommend the song called fever and drunk-dazed, i think yall gonna enjoy it 😊
There was comment somewhere in TH-cam saying that Hybe ruined this kids music...and I was: wow isnt that too much?...Now I understand that person lol. This was terrible.
I like what you did with watching the first and most recent songs. It allows you to see growth. However what I think is the best thing to do, especially with groups that have a storyline, is to watch the songs in order. It really helps to see how everything fits in. This is probably most important if you're someone that really focuses on the video as well as the song. Also some people saying that it's not as good as their other songs, I get that it's their opinion but what I think is that it's not as hard hitting as a single or full album comeback because it was a repackaged album. That's what I think anyway.
I know what you mean but you should react Enhpyen's Drunk-Dazed (first comeback, and my faveourite ehnypen title song) and Fever (maybe the best b-side track). Both of these have a music video and mark my words you will be amazed. :) Ps.: Sorry for my english! ^^
I was born in 2002 but I grew up watching and listening to 90’s and 2000’s music, in my opinion I just don’t think it FIT them… like i know kpop likes to do every type of genre, concept BUT just not everyone has that SWAG or groove 😭

i recommend you guys to react to drunk-dazed and fever!! i think those two songs impressed me the most
I was born 1992 . I enjoy the video
AHH I WAS WAITING FOR THIS
TBH I liked it a lot more than other title tracks - I just wish it had a bridge or a better climax at the end of the song
PLZ REACT TO FEVER AND DRUNK DAZED THEY ARE BOTH BOPS BY ENHYPEN
I know you will love FEVER or DRUNK-DAZED by Enhypen 🙏🙏🙏

his reaction finally arrived, the boys' songs are great, please react to more of them 😘
Ya'll really need to here Drunk - Dazed! It's by far their best song and it's really amazing
Finally you have reacted to Enhyphen again ❤️
OH GOSH YOU GUYS DID THISS
React to Enhypen "Polaroid Love"
it's hard for us to who want to see the whole reaction and can't afford it.

I believed it is the best song they had aside from "Fever" and "Tamed-Dashed" hahsha
OMG I was just thinking the same thing the mv reminded me a lot of TLC and Missy Elliott.

I was born in 1995 but I think they don't seem to not fit them, it is okay to them
