I looooove this sound on the flugelhorn. I've been told that chasing this kind of airy sound on the trumpet will give me bad reflexes... I wanted to close my eyes to focus on the sound but the pink hair caught my attention too much X)
VERY smooth sound, groovy, bluesy and NICE "drive"....... But the "Road" Is VERY long... I'M 53 years old, I'M a trumpet jazz players, my dear Dad, Director of Orchestra in late '60, and early '70......
The flugelhorn soloist was wonderful and the pianist was also beautifully done. Excellent job from both parties. I love that rendition of Misty.
