Since I'm not a nostalgia lover I'm not going to throw shit at the remaster just because it doesn't look identical to the original (as I see many complained in the comments). The reality is that the remastered version looks superior in everything. That cold and metallic aspect of the original disappeared, for a more realistic one, where the sunrise is seen better settled. The colors no longer look saturated as in the original, which is something that took away a lot of realism. The textures are superior and even the change from one to the other suited him very well to give more body to the objects. As I said, cry nostalgia lovers, I'll take the remaster. the warehouse is much less dark, which ruins the feeling of coming into the light
Crysia its the only saga that doesn't need remasters
Whats change?
When I first looked at this video I thought the original was the remastered and was like "wow that is a lot better, oh wait".
Because in addition, the performance is higher than in the original.
Why remastered version is darker and more blur... trilogy now on sale on steam, anyone bought it?
It looks to me that they have got the original mixed up with the remaster.
Does the game perform better without Raytracing compared to to the original version ?
Does the remaster look worse? Yes, does it come with origin launcer? No, so the remaster wins no diff
I play and I love, the difference colors make my eyes feel comfortable for a long playing time
crysis already has the peak graphics that remaster look like a filter dark
Remastered looks like a quite good modders work rather than a software company...exchange textures this a common practice in decent mods...
remaster looks better but worse at the same time
The graphic of this game is way ahead of its time, it make remastered doesnt feel new...
Crysis series are masterpiece of video games
Remaster for this game wasn't absolutely necessarry.
Tthe pistol's position still bothers me, it feels way too close to my face
I'm sorry but shouldn't REMASTERED games look significantly better not slightly better or worse compared to the original?
My impression is that both original Crysis 1 and 3 win over their remastered versions, while Crysis 2 is the only one that the remastered really worths it. At least graphically.
I never say this about remasters but the original looks the same if not better
The graphics in this game are so good. That even the remaster does not look something impressive. The difference is absolutely negligible.
How is this a remaster? Slightly better lighting, but flat textures, like that brick wall when he opens the door. Kinda crazy that a remaster in the 2020's puts out a lower quality version then the original in 2011
Looks more better now lol. Crazy ass game
Wee need more 4,5,6!!
Edit:- unfortunately even those 2011 technology they used for this game is good looking still TO TRICK PEOPLE THAT IT IS STILL BETTER! But actually, despite that crisis 1 upgrade, it sucked , but this honestly, now it’s MUCH BETTER, MUCH!
Not worth the like 44 more gigs it takes up to only somewhat look better & Usually end up looking worse.
The orginal looks a little blurry and still looks alot similar to the remastered only better looking.
my controller doesn’t work on pc with this game it’s all messed up
A reshade mod could probably do this
В этой игре даже улучшать по сути нечего. Она сделана буквально на одном из самых пиздатых движков
hears hoping my 6950xt will handle 4
Remastered it´s not a Remake, same game for me Pc player. I played all Crysis 1,, 2 and 3 are the best..But the last one the graphics on PC still amazing.
God damn someone hired a bunch of new guys tried to crush the old games
what they remastered?
I would call it reimagined, not remastered, somehow it seems to me that the original is better. Would the combination of the original + BlackFire's Mod 2 + MaLDoHD 4.0 Final version be better than remastered? Probably yes.
Is the upgrade free? If its free i might try it if not they can forget it. I will never pay 2x for the same thing, over my dead body. They should go for their latest engine, that would be interesting or just make another game.
21€ on epic games
2:19 original pistol textures have a far better resolution compared to the remastered one imo, just look at them. The edgewear in the remastered pistol look blurry and low res.
That very much looks like effect of DLSS.
The edge is blurry because of depth of field, and the pistol's details are being hidden due to the more accurate lighting.
they willing us to pay more for game that worse than the original
Its lumetri color work
I hope they optimized graphic
Everyone has its own taste but i like the Remastered Graphics
The fuck happened to the textures in the "remaster"??? Look at the gun textures and the wall textures, it's clearly a downgrade, it also seems as if they removed some post processing effects?
DLSS and Ray tracing added - the only difference. At the first glance barely noticable difference in graphics not worth wasting those gigabytes for remastered version.
Remastered. More like recolored
Pistol looks much better in the original.
