- Deleted Boogie video from Feb or March this year. This is video Boogie uploaded after he took magic mushrooms. On Twitter, Twitch and TH-cam Boogie was spouting off how he was a changed man and suffered an ego death after taking shrooms. What happened Boogs!? Why'd ya delete the video!?! I thought it was your most authentic video to date!!!

This was like a month after he said he was going to stop posting the heavy personal shit in his latest apology.
It's not even a rerun series like some people have said, it's fucking Groundhog Day at this point.
I think part of what makes this video so weird is the fact that he brings up some very valid criticisms of himself, but they're sandwiched between inauthentic comments about hoping it doesn't go viral, acting sad when he doesn't shed a tear, etc
It makes me wonder if Boogie is genuinely capable of self-reflection and identifying flaws within himself, or if he just knows that if he brings up some of the lighter criticisms and take ownership of his lighter mistakes, it'll make him seem genuine to people who don't know about the tomfoolery this guy has always pulled.
There are comments he makes like (paraphrasing) "I ruined the body I was given to explore with" where for a second, I genuinely feel bad for the dude, but he's just been so manipulative up to this point, I can't even believe the man is hurting when he tells us he is.
I believe that Boogie is 100% aware of his problems and knows what to do to fix them. However, instead of doing anything to fix these issues, he uses his awareness to TELL people that he's working on them. This is how he's managed to manipulate his audience and form such a strong parasocial bond with the few who remain.
He knows by bringing up that he's being more active, trying to lose weight, going to therapy, that he's been abused, that he gets harassed etc that this will incite an emotional reaction from his audience. He knows going to therapy will help him heal, but he probably doesn't go. He knows that if he stay off Twitter and Twitch that majority of his internet drama wouldn't happen, but he refuses to stop. He knows that he eats like s*it but he does it anyway.
The worst part is how he keeps people on the hook with that promise of change. I can almost guarantee that this is what roped Dez into the relationship and what ended up keeping her there for so long.

I dont claim to know or have any of the answers, but as a 46 year old dude who has made my fair share of mistakes, most "middle aged men" come to a point where their mortality (physically and emotionally) and the decisions made that have gotten to that point begin to start staring them in the face. As a veteran who has lost many friends, I often wonder why I am still around, right or wrong. But some advice here Steven, take it or leave it. You MUST stop apologizing to the internet. You MUST get your head right. I understand its an "outlet" for you and you feel TH-cam and your followers are all you have, but you MUST focus on the things around you. Friends, family, your dogs etc. Those are the people that when the chips fall will be there for you. Once you feel you get your head right and if you want to continue to be a TH-camr, you need to change your format completely. Stop with the story telling and advice giving and just stream games, like many other successful TH-camrs. Play the games, react to whats left of your supporting community and STOP this professing of your soul to TH-cam. Its not working anymore dude. You still have time, but its running out.

Damn, he thought this was going to be THE video. It's close, but right off the bat with the silly excuses, like the "imposter syndrome" crap. This just sounds like the typical next day psychedelic emotional, thought provoking mood along with hos usual crap. He's trying so hard to "fix" everything, as if there are a magical combination of words that's he could string together to fix all this, but that's not how it works. He needs to put away the camera for a long while, not worry about what everyone else is thinking, and work on his own life, quietly and non publicly just for starters, then go from there. He and wings both have the same problem of thinking you have to defend every single thing people say, when they need to relax and let it all flow past them and get off the computer for a while, they just keep shining more light on on it all like picking at an infection.
This dude's youtube channel is genuinely a treasure as an opportunity to study a narcissistic emotional vampire from a safe distance. I’m starting to think his abuse stories are either untrue or completely exaggerated. Because in the 2009 video his mom calls him sorry, which aged very well and if you look at his brother and sister, they actually live normal lives with family of their own and don’t talk to Boogie because of the stories he tells on social media.
If the abuse is true, I’m sorry that it happened but this guy is known for pathological lying. I mean I’m only 19 and had to deal with an abusive father for most of my life but he was out of my head a year after I stopped talking to him and I certainly never brought it up so people could feel sorry for me.
exactly, being a victim of abuse is terrible but its up to the individual how they handle themselves afterwards (get the necessary help, forgive those that wronged them, move on to be the best they can be..) which doesn't excuse him from any of the terrible things he has said over the years, the horrible way he treated others, and the pathological lying. cant use abuse as justification for continuing to pass it on others.
Apparently the abuse only happened when his siblings left home, but other times he says that it happened when they were there. Yeah Boogie probably had a bad mother, big woop. As you mentioned, his siblings didn't let it stop them from either achieving great things or starting a family.

Boogie is a good example of, you either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain. But i have no sympathy for him.

He clearly doesn’t want to face the reality of his own creation even when that reality is taken away from him. He’s truly lost and no amount of psilocybin is gonna change that. A lot of people on here really have never tried psychedelics before. Mushrooms can make even the most egotistical person feel something again. Especially a bad trip. Now, will it last no, and is he still a piece of shit, yes, but mushrooms will give you that glimmer of actual self-reflection for a few days after the trip.

Not saying it's really wearing off over the course of the video, but if you stuck the camera in his face two minutes after he came down, I feel like there would be less of his rationalizations creeping back in.
It’s recommended to take them when you’re in a good head space so I’m not surprised that this was the result of his second time when the cameras weren’t rolling and he couldn’t play it up he just had to sit there in his own mind. But the fact that all these people have told him what he needs to do and still says “I have no idea what to do” speaks volumes
