lol yes but y'all have to remember 1. I don't see these things until I'm editing the video and 2. not everything you see is ALL that happens, I wind up washing my hair 3 times sitting under the hooded dryer 3 times which is why I came back the next day

The whole goal of it is to prevent over processing on the previously relaxed hair. And if she gets a Japanese relaxer with any trace of the regular relaxer on her hair shaft, it is gonna fall out like leaves in autumn! OMG I so hope she sees a good professional.
I went natural when I was single, kids free, and had extra extra time to play with my texture. Several pregnancies & extra love handles later, I need to quicken my hair/wash routine so I can workout like my body needs without hair excuses. Your relaxed new growth is the kind of texture I’m hoping for all around. Thanks for the review!
Hello there. First I want to say you have a beautiful and healthy hair. I'm not a specialist, but I think you didn't get better results because you didn't use the protector correctly. It's meant to be applied on the ends of the hair, so it will protect them from the relaxer. The one meant to protect the scalp is called "gentle assurance"
Jazzy, please be sure to rinse all of the relaxer from the nape of your neck. Having any trace of it can cause hair damage and loss. Also please use the Affirm Gentle Assurance Scalp Protector before you start the relaxer process.
Love this video! This was so helpful for me to start doing my own relaxers, and not being too intimidated by doing it myself. Im tired of spending money at the salons its time to DIY beautiful hair!

THEEEEEEN I found out I was lopo (low porosity) so my cuticles stayed tightly closed unless using heat to lift and open and allow products in. I thought that my hair was taking to relaxers anymore... but I found out I was stretching too long to rather than rub the risk of under processing my hair... which cause two different textures and that is what causes breakage... I do not stretch that long anymore.... it caused more harm than good. GOOD LUCK!
I have a video up on my channel on how to properly stretch your hair as you dont need to stop stretching because your hair is breaking as you need to listen to your hair and give it what it needs and if you just jump from 12 weeks post relaxer to now going 6 months without a relaxer of course your going to have breakage. Breakage is caused at the line of demarcation when the natural texture and relaxed hair meets and its *DRY*
If your hair was in a protective style and you really took your time , your hair wouldn’t have got damaged , but that’s just me , I guess everyone’s hair is different.
Have you ever thought that because you have low porosity hair your hair takes a while to respond to the relaxer therefore you should be keeping it in a bit longer than advised? (as I’m guessing the times are based on normal/medium porosity) and also do extra smoothing in order to help with penetration and get it straight. Think that’s the issue you’re having and why it’s not working… it’s just underprocessed. Also try using normal hair instructions not fine 😊 hope that helps if you’re still relaxing!
I’m not risking frying my hair because I want it straighter I think that’s where we struggle in the relaxed community, my hair stopped taking the relaxer, in general so I have moved on to other straightening variations to achieve the look I’m going for. You should always follow the directions & be advised by a professional first. As I shared in this video I had previously gotten a corrective relaxer so for me this was the last straw I’m still chemically treated at the moment! Thanks for tuning in and commenting boo❤️🩷🩵

What does your hair being under processed have to do with it burning? It can still burn your scalp, while at the same time under process your strands. Smart ass! 😘

I will be now going to get the JTT in a few months since my hair doesn’t take the relaxer
Please educate yourself on the terminology... thick hair is the diameter of each strand, thin hair is the amount of strands you have on your head, fine hair is the opposite of thick hair meaning the diameter of each strand is smaller than the diameter of someone who has thick hair. Focus on finding out what your hair is and not just looking at mine making an assumption as my hair is different than yours as I have fine hair
Jazzie Jae yea your response wasn’t 100%. So you actually need to educate yourself. The thickness of a simple strand is classified as fine, medium or coarse. The number of strands on the head is classified as thick or thin. And being that the young lady was simply asking you a question and not coming off rude, you were wrong both in your so called lesson and when it came to snapping. I started watching this video due to me being bored and not needing an education being that I already went through cosmetology school to get that education but you ma’am are too prissy for no reason. I’m surprised people even watch your videos
Ooh wee this gal... lol! Jazzie, what’s wrong??? You go in ready for a fight. You are a beautiful young lady (not that that matters much in my comment lol), wait for the fight to find you...then, show some class and choose your fights. #ladylike

Beautiful and healthy. I hope you don't get offended by this. But I love your hair vidoes the most, because it seems like your hair is somewhat like mines. It look like one side is longer than the other or the hair is more thicker on one side. I never see anyone hair like that on these TH-cam hair videos. I feel like I have someone I can relate to😕
Oh no im not offended, its the truth thats why I never trim my hair straight across because I would be cutting hair that's healthy so because I'm growing my hair out super long the hair that looks "thin" is actually my hair thats already grew in the back the hair in the front is still trying to catch up
@@JazzieJaeT i will never step feet back in a salon i learn they dont care about your hair they just want your money i live in a small town and its hard to fine someone who really care about your hair but to answer your question i dont have virgin hair i would be getting a touch up i no a lot about hair i just hadn't went to school. 4 months ago was the last time i go a relax i being really protecting my hair so i have ordered affirm products i was just asking u the steps but thanks anyways i found out what steps to take😏
The problem with relaxing your hair at home it is overlapping the relaxer from previously relaxed hair overlapping can cause breakage dryness and destroy your hair shift please be careful. I love this relaxer system but I Will caution you guys to please please do not overlap the relaxer if this is a retouch I think that she is overlapping so please don’t overlap because you will break your hair from dryness and damage from overlapping the relaxer. ‼️‼️‼️‼️ This is why black women are losing their hair from overlapping the relaxer .
I have under processed hair yes I am overlapping the relaxer. the video is up on my channel if you would like to see it professionally done thanks for tuning in
your hair looks healthy, but you need at least 3 inches cut off. then, it would've really look full and thicker. it's 2022, so hopefully you would've gotten then ends cut. well, more like a hair cut to make your hair even.
Be carefull!!! I did a morrocan straigthening and it damaged my hair so baaaad! See and do your research. The japanese straightening was notcompatible with the chemichal of the relaxer wich is guanidine. There's a lot of straigthenings that are no compatible when you use relaxers so don't damage your pretty hair for no reason ok? I was on your situation when i decided to change and guess what?! Breakeage! Waiting for your results honey!
@@JazzieJaeT yess i did and i saw another videos about that but still im a litlle bit ceptic because we have a chemichal that its not compatible with that straightening. I will wait for you to do it first kkkkkk

If she (the person doing her daughters hair) wants to explore different methods for styling I just hope she does her research which being subscribed to my channel is a great start especially if your bi racial.
Y’all have to remember, we have to stay in our own lane and just educate not tell people what they should or should not do. You never know people’s reasoning for the things they might do to their hair. As long as it’s healthy it will grow and I have proof
Relaxer isnt the only hair treatment that gives straight hair look into the Japanese thermal reconditioning treatment or the keratin treatment those are other alternatives

I have a video showing my results with Japanese hair straightening. You wont regret it, I reccomend the liscio brand
Maybe you need a "corrective relaxer" at the salon
Maybe I did that at the salon th-cam.com/video/r5eed9x3yYs/w-d-xo.html please check out my videos before you make a suggestion about my hair
Jazzie Jae why does your response seem snappy
@@JazzieJaeT wow why you so nasty
I was also thinking, as I read some of the comments, that she is quick to be snappy. I def did not take her to be so quick with ppl at 1st sight. But it’s kool... I’m currently watching a 2nd video of hers. Curious to see her journey. I’m a professional and passionate about the health of hair. Just curious how ppl care for their hair at home. #enjoyingthevideos
@@JazzieJaeT alot of anger
I’m excitedddd🤯
Thanks for tuning in boo
what hair vitamin you take ?
th-cam.com/video/4uaOgHjMLLQ/w-d-xo.html
Does it burn
My hair is under processed. You can answer that for yourself
What does your hair being under processed have to do with it burning? It can still burn your scalp, while at the same time under process your strands. Smart ass! 😘
I know i am smart thx just ask a question
@@ashleyadam955 I was referring to Jaz, not you you sis. You are smart. You asked a valid question.
Chile it’s so overlapped my anxiety is up and I’m not done watching 😢
Chille now it’s overlapped and colored omggg don’t look
Where’d you get your bracelet???
Be sure to check my videos I have up on my jewelry
This your hair video it's terrific
That sucks that its not taking but that length though 😍
The relaxer didn’t take because it was not properly executed
@@byronthompson1192 Should she have kept in longer? It’s not recommended to leave a relaxer in for more that 15 minutes
You relaxing your own hair . I can't believe it I thought that was a no,no.
*READ THE COMMENTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE AN ignorant COMMENT*
Because I wanted to film it for my channel, plus I was due to get the Japanese thermal straightening treatment this time this year but my hair wasn’t long enough. I will be now going to get the JTT in a few months since my hair doesn’t take the relaxer
The spongebob transition 😅
These products are wonderful.
Would you say your hair is thick or thin? It look both i'm not sure
Her hair looks fine and very thin. Mines fine and super thick 🙄
@@justkaylaplease1231 exactly
Ooh wee this gal... lol! Jazzie, what’s wrong??? You go in ready for a fight. You are a beautiful young lady (not that that matters much in my comment lol), wait for the fight to find you...then, show some class and choose your fights. #ladylike
I dont y this video mad me cring... I was really going crazy like sis please get that shit off the back of ya neck... but other than that luv this video
Thanks boo I did get it off eventually lol be sure to tune in and check out my latest video! 💛
Beautiful and healthy. I hope you don't get offended by this. But I love your hair vidoes the most, because it seems like your hair is somewhat like mines. It look like one side is longer than the other or the hair is more thicker on one side. I never see anyone hair like that on these TH-cam hair videos. I feel like I have someone I can relate to😕
Oh no im not offended, its the truth thats why I never trim my hair straight across because I would be cutting hair that's healthy so because I'm growing my hair out super long the hair that looks "thin" is actually my hair thats already grew in the back the hair in the front is still trying to catch up
Girl u need a trim
Girl i dont. Worry about the hair on your head. Girl
Jazzie Jae LOL That last ‘girl’ took me OUT. 😂
I don’t get it ? This is your last relaxer and you spend 80 bucks on products you won’t be using again ? lol 😂
Does a salon relaxer not cost $60? And I went blonde. So I couldn’t relax but now I’m growing it back out to do it again with a little color
Hi jazz i have 4c hair what should i used normal or mild
I would go to the salon for a virgin relaxer
@@JazzieJaeT i will never step feet back in a salon i learn they dont care about your hair they just want your money i live in a small town and its hard to fine someone who really care about your hair but to answer your question i dont have virgin hair i would be getting a touch up i no a lot about hair i just hadn't went to school. 4 months ago was the last time i go a relax i being really protecting my hair so i have ordered affirm products i was just asking u the steps but thanks anyways i found out what steps to take😏
J'adore
Merci!!!💋
😮Great video👏
2 relaxer a year is the way to go
Great job
Thanks for tuning in, be sure to share!!!
Yes! I’m so excited to see your Japanese hair straightening videos
Me too I can’t wait to get it done
The problem with relaxing your hair at home it is overlapping the relaxer from previously relaxed hair overlapping can cause breakage dryness and destroy your hair shift please be careful. I love this relaxer system but I Will caution you guys to please please do not overlap the relaxer if this is a retouch I think that she is overlapping so please don’t overlap because you will break your hair from dryness and damage from overlapping the relaxer.
‼️‼️‼️‼️
This is why black women are losing their hair from overlapping the relaxer .
I have under processed hair yes I am overlapping the relaxer. the video is up on my channel if you would like to see it professionally done thanks for tuning in
Very Good 🌪🌪
Thanks for tuning in!!!
Is it lye or no lye❤❤
Im not sure
No lye... any relaxer that has to be mixed with the activator is no lye
your hair looks healthy, but you need at least 3 inches cut off. then, it would've really look full and thicker. it's 2022, so hopefully you would've gotten then ends cut. well, more like a hair cut to make your hair even.
Be sure to check out my most recent video, I’m hosting a giveaway with 3 winners and it’s still open!!!
Im going to hairs talent here on youtube I feel very confident in her work as she is my new stylist
@@JazzieJaeT Im curious to know more about that. My hair is just like yours very fine.
did you check out some of her videos ?
@@JazzieJaeT yess i did and i saw another videos about that but still im a litlle bit ceptic because we have a chemichal that its not compatible with that straightening. I will wait for you to do it first kkkkkk
How many times you've rinsed it should of been at least 3 to 4 times don't won't to cause breakage
I also washed it more off camera

thanks for tuning in be sure to check out my healthy hair playlist
I love your videos and a big support and does white girl need to relaxer there hair
They don't need too but I have seen it done before! Carli Bybel is the one who turned me on to Japanese Thermal Straightening treatment because her hair is always super straight for her to be Italian
Ok then I just do them on my daughters she is mixed with black and white love you
@pink girl very good advice that you gave her...
She never said her daughters age and what we not gone do on this channel is tell people what they need to do.
You did a terrible job.. with the cream on the nape of your neck.
Good thing its my hair and not yours... LMAFOOOO
Is it racist if I (a white person) get my hair relaxed?
Only if those are your intentions
@@JazzieJaeT I just want my frizzy hair to look straight.
Relaxer isnt the only hair treatment that gives straight hair look into the Japanese thermal reconditioning treatment or the keratin treatment those are other alternatives
No lmao. It's not
Yes 😐
Your volume went down
Didn't understand why this was your last time.. I mean are you going natural and if so why relaxe now?
I see your new to my channel as missing or not watching my relaxer update videos will cause room for question. Be sure to check those out as i have said numerous times i will never go natural. Thanks for tuning in
@@JazzieJaeT yes I'm new love your videos.. But just what do you mean that this is your last relaxer? I'm guessing you we're starting a new stretch.. IDK but yes I will check out some of your other videos thanks for kind of answering my question 🤔🤷
@@ladyshay9429 she will be using the Japanese straightener treatment . I believe
Now that i have updated you guys in my newer content do you see why i feel like stop getting relaxers
This is nikki anderson
you are overlapping your previous relaxed hair I cringed
good thing I actually didn't overlap the relaxer on my previously relaxed hair, im just going to assume you skipped around this is why its important to watch the entire video, but good try
I don’t think she overlapped any tbh ...
I actually didnt even go down far enough
you’re going to stop relaxing?
