I love Yeontae so much right now I know she'll probably cave by the end of the drama and get married but it's so refreshing to see a heroine who's not aegyo full, who's genuinely awkward, and yet speaks her mind and tells her man that she wants to date longer before getting married and refuses to quit her job.
I just love how Sangmin immediately realized his words could be misunderstood and said "Sorry I'm not trying to belittle your occupation" it shows that not only he loves her for everything she is but also that he's proud of her

I cant get over how wise and firm Sangtae is! He's such a good leader, in the workplace and at home. He knows how to weigh the costs and benefits and works in everyone's best interest without neglecting anyone. His wife is perfect for him because she completes him, she works hard to create a balance so the children feel at home. Even at work she is good at what she does. This is an example of a good relationship. young boys and girls: when looking for someone to marry, look for these traits and make sure you also possess those traits. look for leadership in a man like sangtae, be a reliable woman like Mijeong. Avoid men like Mijeong's ex who don't have their life together, they cant even think ahead to foresee the consequences of their actions. He was so adamant about getting the divorce that he forgot he was a father.

Love the love story of Jinju and Taemin...how there love developed well in the story. The conviction of Taemin to pursue his love for Jinju was remarkable. Likewise Yeontae is genuine in terms of her love to Sangmin, but would like to take time to realize about herself and her feelings towards Sangmin. The lead couple is giving us so much lesson to be learned in terms of commitment and perseverance towards family and self. For the in laws, perhaps the fear of losing and injustice to be given to their grandchildren matters most, the reason they behave like that.

The least that Sangtae could've done for his ex-in-laws is invite them to family events like the housewarming party. They are still family-they are Su and Bin's grandparents and aunt. He lived with them and they helped him out financially. It must be like a slap in the face the way they are being cut off . And people here in the comments were angry when they expressed their dislike at him getting remarried....
lovelyd9 I think he just didn't want the parents of his late wife hanging out at her new wife's house. It does make things uncomfortable. However, I do think Mijeong wouldn't mind it much. He should've talked to her about it.
That makes sense from Mijeong's point of view. And yes it would have been sensible for him to talk to her about it. I think Sangtae's late wife's parents were being cut-off from more than just the housewarming party from what I can remember. It's almost been a year since I watched this lol. On a side note~I just saw screenshots of Sangmin and Yeontae's first kiss xD. The best KBS weekend drama kiss i've seen (well this is the only KBS weekend drama i've watched).

Somehow I understand SangTae about his decision.. They need to adjust first with their situation while their children is still young..They need to check first how they will handle a large family like that with their own and also to have no biased situation between the children... And poor Sangmin about her mother. I love the pacing of their relationship and the improvement on how yeon tae react about him... Yupp. the best thing for them is to take it slow.. :) Still... that imagination was really funny...hahaha

It would be nice and touching if Sangtae invited his in-laws to his housewarming party...he was so close to them as if they were his parents.
But after his marriage, it seemed he didnt want to continue the relationship he had with them...now i understand why his in-laws so afraid and upset knowing he had a girlfriend and against the idea of his intention to remarry.
Why don't people understand that he HAS to make this break from them, for his marriage, for his wife, for his kids. Once they get settled in and the kids are comfortable in their new family, THEN he will slowly let them back into their lives. Right now, the in-laws need to back off. Their moving into the same building is an invasion of privacy and just disgusting.

That's utter nonesnse. They have the right to buy up the building where a new couple, the father of the kid, will live? isn't that just manipulation, spying, and control? If you don't realize how absurd it is to think you know better than the father of the child, who moved into your home to take care of you nd moved out to be happy, with an experienced mother, without even giving them any kind of breathing space, then I don't know what to tell you.

LOL this is why you don't mess with married men. But I'm sure she'll get one...
I never thought id say this but /clutches heart/ i think Sangtae is really selfish lol. Now im 100% with him about making sure all the kids are equal and that Soo & Bin get rid of their spoiledness. But Sangtae wasn't around, he was working. And these children lost their mother. Their paternal grandparents and aunt were all they had and to literally just push them out of their lives when they raised these kid is horrible. In time the paternal grandparents would end up loving and caring for Mijeongs children as well and 3 sets of grandparents are better than two.
There's a difference between them being Su and Bin's grandparents, and them being Mijeong's in laws. They want the latter in addition to the former. They want a say in the comings and goings of the family and that's not right, nor is it fair to Mijeong. She's already taking on the responsibility of raising his children, now she has to take on his dead wife's parents and sister as well??? No. They can still see the kids. The kids can still come visit them, but that doesn't mean the children should be getting special lessons that the other kids can't have because the parents can't afford them for all the kids. If the tables were reversed and Sangtae died, they would've wanted their daughter to move on with her life and they wouldn't have liked the idea of the in laws interfering with her new life with her new husband.
+tarheel715 Sangtae has said he doesn't want them to see the children. I assume its cause im past you in the episodes so you just dont get it but thats...really not his issue? They aren't asking for Mi jeong to bend over backwards for them they just want to see the kids THEY raised. No they shouldn't spoil them or have moved below them but Sangtae and his mom are literally pushing the in laws out of the picture. And thats extremely unfair to So and Bin. They lost the three family members that raised them while their dad worked + ran around with Mi Jeong.

He made accommodations around their needs, and not the other way round. you are forgetting that in the beginning, he lived alone with the wo kids and could manage them, and he only moved in because he made a promise to his wife. Now, there's nothing a new marriage needs more than showing stability and ground rules, if he goes an inch, they will gladly take nine. You need to keep family affairs family affairs first, before involving anyone else. He has done he same with his parents , so why should his inlaws be special, lol
