This is what I call "Prophetic Fun," serious humor, with embedded wisdom, as distinguished from superficial comedy. Who was that guy who sternly said piano study can't be fun, because with most teachers it isn't fun. Way to deadly serious, impressed with their gravitas. Great piece. Got the idea in in less than a minute with impact. Humor and analogy are the best teaching tools for fun lovers like myself. Message received. Stay on this track. Smiling from Oregon, Dave M
Great video and a very clear explanation of the arm weight technique. Would be great if you could extend this series esp. how to apply the technique to shifting weight
Hi , May i have youre point of view on playing with 2 hands. Is it better to play with left and right from the start or first the right then the left, then together..? Looking forward to youre respons. Kind regards.
ok, I understand that concept of weight when I'm at the bottom of a key. but then it seems that when I'm not at the bottom, I have to tense muscles and hold the weight, right?
Thank you for the lesson! But now, what about variations of the arm weight for piano and forte and so on. Make It sense or arm weight is always the same?

Not necessarily, in fact, once you hit the note you can release almost all tension, because you only need the key to be pressed to keep the sound
