I was happy to use spartan carbon about 4 years, but only complain is noise. In this review, noise didn't improve in this new model. Shark really need to improve their helmet noise. I really like other features about spartan.

Thank you! The main difference is that the GT Pro is ECE 22.06 approved. The helmet must pass a stricter test compared to the 22.05 certification and this certification is becoming mandatory for manufacturers.

Hi Nick, this helmet does not have a Sharp rating yet. The Spartan GT Carbon had 4 stars, you could compare it to that for now until it undergoes its own SHARP test!

How does Gt air 2 compare to it? I got shark spartan gt, like most of it, but whistle bother me when visor is up. Not sure how to deal with that.
