They could do a version of this where some critical parts are "holy" like front wheels, springs etc and cant be removed, when someone runs out of normal parts they still race. Could perhaps make the later races more even.
I wonder if the T-series would do well in this, or perhaps the bus - bigger vehicles that, while they might struggle to manuver in the race (and be a terrifying thing to be near for the other cars), may have more parts to endure the reduction each time. Plus it would be funny.
this would be very cool as a championship race, there's a very high skill ceiling here, lots of tactics like pulling out heavier parts early for an advantage etc
This was definitely a new idea for racing. Only thing I can think of to improve would be whatever place you finish would be how many parts to remove. 1st one part, 2nd two parts etc. Was fun to watch
This needs to be a series covering several different tracks and track surfaces. It's bound to be easier to drag your two-wheeled frame over ice and snow as opposed to dirt or tarmac
This is brilliant fun! If I can make a suggestion, I wonder if the mechanical parts should count as more than the cosmetic/weight only parts. I think it would be very fun to see all the drivers progressively dealing with jankier and jankier car set-ups as the rounds progressed. But it seems like most went from nearly fully capable to one round of janky to either eliminated or a 2-wheel frame. There really wasn't a lot of dealing with the mechanics getting slowly worse, because once into the essential parts 10 is a lot.
What do you guys think of this idea for next time, Everyone has the same car and whoever comes 1st only loses one part, 2nd two parts etc. you could start with a more simple car to start with and see how it pans out.👍
If I was doing this I think I would have chosen some kind of dump truck or freight truck; it will be really bad racing-wise, but perhaps it has so many parts that it compensates for that loss at the end.
Yes my 3rd post. I say if they do this again that everyone will have at least a Bastion or whatever comes with the most added parts. Why does Alex say WE are whatever instead of I. I know that I am posting @almost midnight U.K. time but if a vehicle rolls from side to side it is a ROLL. Front to back is a FLIP. Aircraft, ships, vehicles. the world over know this!
I've gotta be dumb or something, coz I'm always looking for the place marker but can't find it, yet Fail Race always knows what place he's in. What am I not seeing?
as long as the course isn't small like a figure-8 or 1/4 mile oval, it's fairly easy to tell what positions people are in just by looking at how far along the course they are. In smaller tracks they usually have to look back at the footage / replay since cars can get lapped a few times over the course of one of those races.
Some of D series configuration is good for this. Some of them have so many part and d series is very tough car and have a frame wich can drive with out body. Ambulance or fire truck or police or offroad configes for this course.
Nope. Rear-view, and center console are usually just part of the "body" or "interior" in the parts menu, the dash (or as BeamNG usually calls it, the interior) can usually be swapped for one of a different color, but not removed outright, he did remove the front bar (unless you were talking about the front of the unibody frame?) and parts of the engine can be swapped out for other variants but also cannot be removed.
This is begging for a "Strip The Flood" race.
I second this!
I 82 this.
I 140 this
Do WHAT to the flood???
watching the frame rate get better as the races progress was funny
Damm this is a good and interesting format for a race
I second this.

We need a "Strip the parts vs Hockey Pucks" race.
I second this.
Ewan being just a frame 😂
And Ewan should get a point for fastest lap. 😅
My Roamer was the most bouncy thing ever.
Yeah looked like it :D
The return of the motorised pogo stick 😂
You should do one where you remove 5 parts and upgrade 1
I second this.
The Bastion's brittle steering bites back :D
The exact reason I never drive it, the upper arms always seem to snap and the wheels lay over

What a gloriously ridiculous game mode
My anxiety didn’t like ewan’s car
Take a pill or drink alcohol. It's what I do for anxiety.
@2beer49 can I do both at the same time?
@@HollowKZ You can! In fact, if you take lots of pills with lots of alcohol you'll never ever have anxiety again #lifehack
seeing amy's whole engine and transmission bouncing around in the frame is hilarious
this would be very cool as a championship race, there's a very high skill ceiling here, lots of tactics like pulling out heavier parts early for an advantage etc
The off-road d series would be ridiculous for this the amount of random crap that you can take off them
I'd love to see a race where all cars don't have rear wheels, that might be really funny.
Clearly it's a bad idea to be anywhere around Ewan's read end.

Look forward to hopefully more of this series
A race with no rear wheels would be interesting!

now we need 2 wheel bastion racing
U should do this with random configs
I was thinking the same thing. Start off with randomly selected vehicles and see how long they can last.
Do this with trucks / beasts next!
You're downshifting way too late in the corners, you need to downshift as you go in.
Well i really should get this back on my pc just for the hell of it😂 love these races always good for a laugh
I dont care to say when i was here but good vid
Before I even watch this I think 6 parts or pieces would be E Nuff. Just a thought.
Does anyone know if he has a list of the mods he has installed on his server? I love the variety of vehicles they run as well as some of the gamemodes

lol, why didn’t anyone use a three axle vehicle???
Good race!
Strip The Flood, that is all I have to say, props to RRVCrinale for the idea

He's just developed good awareness over time. There are no position markers in Beam

Could you do this but make it so that first place has to remove 10 parts, second place 9 parts, and so on?
I would have gone for the charier for this
what about a race similar to this but half the cars start at bare and add parts every race
Tis just a scratch
Rear view mirror, dash, center console storage compartment, front crash bar and air filter weren't removable?
Nope. what speck of wheels on the bastion>?
Great video! (didn't even watch it yet)
prob should have banned cars with lots of extra bits. or ran all stambs
I would've shown up with a horse
I mean, we really had no idea without counting. I randomly came up with the idea, and we tried it lol
@longbowxmkii it was a cool idea
Why is it so empty here?
Wow such empty. Wait, wrong comment section.
Not second
Not first 💔

Uhm.... third!!
