I love ya Corrie don’t get me wrong but often behind a good Godly woman is a good Godly man . To often men get no credit in a relationship and that’s just the way people are today . I’m still old fashioned myself ! You two was a gift to eachother from the Lord because let me tell you it doesn’t always happen like that . Actually it hardly ever happens like that .

Great way to up cycle those refrigerator drawers!! I put some old ones I had into the freezer to organize my foods. Keeps those foods from falling out when you open the door!

My MamMam (grandma) lived in the country and had a freezer on her back deck.
She kept it LOCKED at all times so “PREDATORS/CRITTERS” couldn’t open the freezer.

Great idea on the refrigerator bins. I've used them for feeding farm animals. Your whole place, garden and yard is looking pretty. Nothing more satisfying than working on it together!

Congrats on your new freeze! You will really be glad you bought it and smart that it locks. Animals like trying to get in them too, so best to keep it locked at all times. Garden looks great!
Also, having a lock on the freezer will guarantee no small children will get in it. Freezer and refrigerator doors are safer now than years ago when the door shut the child couldn’t open it from inside. A few had tragic outcomes. We’re safer now ❤

Corie, all your flowers you're buying that are blooming already were forced at the nurseries. Always (and it sounds cruel but it doubles the beauty) cut off all the blooms on the annuals. This is a great help to letting the plant put its energy into establishing the rooting system. It also prevents legginess. Austin, you need to check out the Gorilla carts and consider the investment. It's the perfect little dump truck, besides everything you can cram in it for pulling around the place! Saved my butt for moving square bales, cleaning stalls and moving compost, etc.!

Keep it locked in case it gets left open. A lesson learned the hard way. Same with the plug. Make sure it's secured to the receptical. Another lesson learned!

Most of the time you only need a new or rebuilt compressor not a whole new freezer or refrigerator ,My Frigidaire with freezer on bottom is still in service over 44 years when things were made in the u.s.a. with quality control. And not designed obsolescence. Build yourself a wooden flower cart with wheels and parts from Loews. Put the freezer inside the house it will last longer never lay it down or bounce it down steps. Bugs and spiders bees and wasps will ruin your fridge outside. Elements will rust out bottom back and coils. Be smart save a headache.
With all the negative in the news, left and right, it's nice to come here for the latest in the world of good and peace.
Corrie, when you and your mom mentioned getting a saddle for your Pop's headstone, I really thought ya'll meant a horse saddle! I was thinking your grandpa must have really loved horses and I was thinking someone might steal if from the headstone. Now I know what ya'll were talking about!

Hey Corie thanx for sharing. My suggestion for any Flower or Food Crop Plant that dies, get it OUT of the Garden or Planters, as in far away from your healthy plants. The Plant died for a reason and the cause can spread to the healthy plants. I learned that the hard way, God bless.😃

Ya'll need to get a sharp shooter shovel. It's an absolute must for rocky clay soils like we have here in the Piedmont of North Carolina.
