Alot of people also sleep on the APKWS having laser guided hydras at 10.0 is amazing
I find them fairly inconsistent to use, sometimes even with a good lock they go right into the ground short of the target even with a decent loft

-less HE filler than Hydras
-cost as much as bloody hellfires
-damage inconsistent
-penetration subpar compared to hellfires
and you still wonder why...
@cheggers-qf7jb You also have to aim entirely different with the APKWS, they hardly turn so you have to have the missile pod aiming at the target if you want even a chance of hitting it. The best use of the APKWS is in heli PVE to take out enemy AA while grinding.

I've seen a little brid totally level a house using rockets in Iraq. I love them. They always had our back. When the other pilots were in the mess, we always had a little bird on call. Totally respect those pilots.

Well as of rn it's not really reliable, sometimes it makes the things harder
If you're experienced at the game, it really isn't necessary. It's the same in arcade, the markers are often just distracting
@@prestigexv2151 arcade markers r programmed to always be off target by like..a slight margin. RB SPAA lead indication however is actually quite pinpoint accurate!!! only that its limited by the fact that aircraft are usually maneuvering and bullets..sadly r not :<
which is why all the good spaas have guns AND missiles :D
@@blessthismessss The indicator displays where to aim if the target remains at the same heading, altitude and speed. If the target is maneuvering or accelerating your rounds will miss. If the target is slowing down it’s the same thing so you will have to adjust your aim based on that information.
@@prestigexv2151 The radar-gun lead indicator on one hand makes people forget how to aim, but on the other it's really useful to knock-out planes at 1km+ ranges.
God I love this heli first game I ever did with it I went full memes and took only the 50 cals and smacked 2 bmp2ms it was great, insane heli at 10.0

The funny thing is the hellfire has a direct fire mode but Gajin decided to give it this top down mode, because with the direct fire mode it would have had a little bit more range that what's currently in game
Because if it had less range people would complain even more

You’d be surprise by the No armor, I saw one while I was in a BMP-2M I used range finder on the 30 with the APFSDS and somehow barely did any damage while doing crit damage

7 months late but your video is gonna be beneficial because I’m about to unlock the little bird but 0 clue best to play it. Seems like hellfires are most practical but the VR and HOTAS rockets is enticing but yeah, ain’t nobody topping Bruce Leroy 😂

I have the EGG!!! I love it! The following reasons: 1. Nimble and agile 2. Very hard to see 3. Easy to control in tight places . My favor place to fight with the egg is in the cities and cannons.
Hey Justin, can you make a video on the m60 ambt, I haven't seen it for a while and I don't want to play above 8.3
I honestly don't know what happened to hellfires, like they used to be terrible, got buffed and became bearable then fell off the face of the planet again. I remember I got the G-LYNX when the hellfires were "good" and it showed, I even managed to get 8 kills with all 8 hellfires. Yeah, the hellfires still did there goofy ass locking switching to dead targets but it was manageable and sometimes the warhead did funky moments when it should do more. Then by the time I got the Apache, damn what a downgrade, I didn't play heli's for a bit so I wasn't keeping track if hellfires got changed or not, but god damn were they awful. Somehow the missiles became more necrophilic than ever (that feels so wrong to say but it makes sense) and even though it's a tandem warhead with 9kg of explosive, I've seen Russian ERA tank it and a lot less damage overall, they didn't overpressure kill stuff anymore either. So what Gaijin has done to hellfires I have no clue but damn is it sad that the best air-to-ground attack the Apache has is the starstreak missiles.

justin, a little tip. when dealing with multiple griound targets, fire one hellfire wait 6 seconds and fire another one to hit a different target. i can get 5 kills in aboiut 20 seconds. just a tip. amazing gameplay like always
So you can lock one, shoot a hellfire at him, wait 6 seconds, then cancel the lock and lock onto someone else and shoot them?
@@phlemtaco6623 lock first target, fire hellfire, after six seconds fire second hellfire, kill first target with first hellfire, lock second target and kill with second hellfire. Works best when targets aren't too far apart and if you are not too close to the battlefield.

bro rocket rushes with the hydras are so fun now that the obj 292 is here (No ERA, no top mounted mg, ammo packed in every square inch, the perfect target for hydras :) )

maybe this is how they work irl but I thought they were top down attack's missile... so forcing them to climb after fired, take way longer flight path, and when they hit... the angles the exact same as if the flew straight to target. like why not just let us have the model that fly's straight by default since that's what they do anyways

Why would you fear Strelas and Ozelots? You have to be within 1 and 2 kn respectively for them to even lock

need a video made about 6.7BR ground RB, where an uptier means you have no Stabiliser and enemy does, enemy has jets and you have prop planes. This really needs some coverage, needs to be fixed

I wish they would fix the sound for the little bird. It doesn't sound like the little bird right now.
Unlocking the tier 4 mod atgms are painful in this thing. APKWS is so inconsistent, sometimes it kill Gepards but most of the time do no damage in heli pve.

yesterday i was in an ozelot and couldnt get a lock on a helo at any range, even at like 1.7km away no lock. but i could get a lock on a recon drone at 2.3km away for some fucking reason

Heli with no armor right above enemies, bad idea. Also the guns themselves seem pretty bad.
Nah you have to just pepega climb while shooting off the hellfires, you only get 4 and I rarely get 4 kill runs because tanks with laser warning will just smoke you and Leopards take no damage. You just gotta hope that no 2s38 looks at you too xd.
Also the littlebird is my beloved and 10.0 is fine, not really that great of an armament but it cant go lower because of 114k's :/

Hellfires aren't bad... Where you where aiming them sometimes was bad. You aimed at the corner of the tank or at the tip of their treads so yeah... It wasn't a one tap but the ones that one popped were into ammo or the turret. You have to kind of aim them like you would a shell.
It should theoretically perform better than the ataka as it has a larger warhead but for some reason it doesn't. How very interesting wouldn't you agree.

If you see that helicopter irl, you’re fucked if they come for you 🤣 the pilots are part of the 160th Special Op Aviation Regiment. They’re scary, and to top it off, they tend to carry Green Berets, Delta Force, SEALS, and other special forces in the transport configuration

I know you aren't the smartest but since you didn't know, sf helicopter formations have little birds interspersed with black hawks as quick assault helicopters and light attack.
Grinding this thing is impossible. Even with premium account and talisman.
